MAD MAX Snow Plow Build part TWO

The build really gets moving here. Lots of welding and discussion on how for this sort of MAD MAX thunderdome style snow plow. This plow is designed to quickly connect into the Front End Loader (FEL or Bucket) of my compact tractor. It has a blade that can be set for straight on, or various angles, a controllable float, pressured float, obstruction flex mechanism, and road kant (skew) angle adjust.

Wow, nice wood stove! Now, to the welder. That is something we do have (purchased for son who went to school for it and doesn't use it anymore) and it does allow for a lot of DIY options! Great video. Love the fact that you're doing it yourself!

Part 3 is coming up this week - and will talk about any pros and cons - was came in from using it this morning. Now the 1/4+ mile driveway is clear, ready for the new snow coming tonight. Tractor is 4WD, but has 'yuppy' tires on it - not the big ribbed AG tires, but worked fine. If we don't get the snow off it turns to mush and then freezes to a thick ice - a couple years ago we were stuck here a couple weeks, even the county road was impassable.
