For anyone who wants to track this game down, note that despite what it says in the top-left corner, this is an original Playstation game, not a PS2 game.

This is correct though worth pointing out it's not an error, they show what it's being played on for the run. A lot of PS1 games are speedrun on PS2 for it's Fast Disc Speed option which reduces loading times, and some communities consider a different category than playing on original hardware.

PS2 also came out in 2000 I think and the year says 1997

According to the manual you are throwing bombs: "hand-thrown bomb: You can throw bombs and defeat monsters waiting on the rails!" :)

I appreciate the shoutout to ska but I'm not hearing any ska (tho skacore is a thing so maybe it is that and I'm just missing the parts due to game music being quiet enough to hear commentary etc over)

Also there's a lot of great Japanese ska bands out there and shouts out to Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra who was mentioned during the run!
