Layne Staley is one of the finest singer/song writer in rock history. There's something about the tone of his voice combined with his dark yet empowering lyrics could rattle the darkest corners of my heart and mind like no other. He clearly had heavy inner turmoil that most cant even begin to comprehend.

So much more powerful than the album version. Layne's voice is so amazing throughout this whole night, Mike is amazing and the sound quality captured is spectacular. Blows the album versions of the songs away for me, probably because of the energy they're feeding off of the crowd, along with the fact they are and were amazing artists. I wonder what more amazing music Layne could have blessed us with of he didn't bow out. His vocal range is just amazing, I don't even know how guys like him can scream like that and not blow their vocal chords and also sing so melodically at the same time. It's a gift very few have.
