I use to go to Disneyland often as a kid in the 1980's (we lived right outside of Anaheim). This ride and Dumbo I would get crazy dizzy than a headache. Only two rides too. However fun ride especially at night. The outdoor rides like this one were always more fun at night.

Both Dumbo and the Tea Cups spin around and can get you dizzy. Also the rockets in Tomorrow land, yet they seem to spin at a slower speed. You are right that the outdoors rides are extra good at night with all the lights turned on

I was at this ride in 2012, July . Believe it or not..my mom, brother, and I rode on the same teacup that you are riding in, blue at Jason's request, he loves blue. This was a fantastic ride! If I git to choose my own cup, it would be one of the purple ones, or the purple with hearts on it,

You do realize a woman died on this ride right? She backed her car out a bit too far and because the walls to the tea cups was thin and close to the ride it smashed through, she got out to try and get away unstuck but the teacupt ride crushed her

The music is a whimsical Alice in Wonderland style track. When the music was not playing one day, the noise from the crowds was all the riders could hear. That sort of did not help the atmosphere of the ride. The music is unique and does have a certain unusual style. It does add to the riders' experience.

The Mad Tea Party spinning teacups is my worst Disneyland ride ever. As you know I've been to Disneyland California in the past throughout my 40 years in my life and one the of rides I usually avoid is the Mad Hatters spinning teacups. You just spin around until you get dizzy and sick and I usually throw up afterwards. It is not my favorite ride and one I'd rather avoid going on, I'll be surprised if Tiana's Bayou Adventure is way worse than this spinning teacup ride. For now I consider the Spinning Teacups one my worst Disneyland rides of all time. I'd rather go on dark rides like Snow Whites Scary Adventure or Pirates of the Caribbean, or Haunted Mansion, heck, I would rather go on the Alice in Wonderland ride instead. And I'd rather go on a Star Wars ride or Matterhorn or Big Thunder Railroad mountain or a fun rollercoaster ride instead. If I had it my way I'd award this spinning teacup ride the worst Disneyland ride of all time right next to Jungle Cruise, and It's A Small World annoying repeating song ride.

The Teacups are one of those rides where people either love it or they hate it. For the people who enjoy the ride, it is a classic and usually has a very short line. You also mentioned small world and one of the good things about that attraction is you get 15 minutes of air conditioned Comfort away from the California Sun. That is always nice
