I never knew how to express my emotion, like I have friends but… they’re not friends? It’s just like I know a bunch of people but I’m not really friends with them.. I’ve noticed that I’ve always been the wierd kid just because I want to stand out, to be different, to have people notice me. Obviously that worked horribly but I still can’t seem to shake off that habit. @@Audrey-dd4pt OKAY SO THIS WAS LITERALLY MY SITUATION LAST YEAR!! My advice to you is to definitely not lose touch with your old friends because they will keep you grounded. I still regularly hang out with my old friends and talk to them. Making new friends definitely takes a lot of adjusting especially to the point where you feel heard and stuff but just hold on and just make a little bit of progress everyday. Try to surround yourself with people that have similar interest as you or just nice people in general and be the one to reach out to them if you need to. Also getting involved at school is what really helped me. I suck at sports but I joined the field hockey team with no experience or anything and it helped a lot with making friends. And if you aren’t into sports then join a club or something! I know it’s hard but try to get out of ur comfort zone and I promise it will be worth it!! :))

'That friend' ; My version, Last year, on a fine sunny day during history class, before my teacher started our lesson he asked us "anyone wants to change their class(nxt door)?" (our class already reached the maximum amount of student so it's super crowded-due to the pandemic we need some students to move next door) No one volunteered. So our teacher tried suggesting some of us name by name. When our teacher said my friends name (boys/girls) most of my friends gave a sad reaction saying tht they don't want him/her to exchange class. But what's the most painful part is, when the teacher said my name no one gave that kind of reaction. As if they're fine whether I'm in the class or not. I've always wanted to tell my younger self that it would be okay to be alone, dont ask the others if you could join them. I've always felt guilt and loneliness knowing that I'm the bug that invaded pitifully into their group. If I could have find comfort in being alone when I was a child rather than these memories of trying so hard to fit in to something, even though there was nothing for me to fit in. I just wished someone taught that little child how to make friends. Because she never had any until junior high school.

This song really, and I mean really hits home for me. My whole life I've been treated like some background person non stop, no matter the people I want to be friends with. In simpler terms, I never really had a real friend. Thanks for making a song I can relate to and vibe to.

I had a friend like this and she always gets really depressed about these things and I would feel too guilty cause I get more attention and she would get left out and I try to put the spotlight to her but she’s was too nice to allow me to her, there was no fault at all, she’s just left out a lot, she would often overthink that reason we don’t give her attention more is because we like her less but that’s just honestly false, I learned a lot in this video cause at least I would know how she truly feels :)
