The fact that some wild animals recognize humans as a last resort source of help makes me think that, on a certain level, a lot of animals can understand that we're smart/powerful. They might not know how we do things, but they know we can do a lot. It's like a human begging a witch for help even though you know she might eat you instead. If you're desperate enough...

@@futuregenesis97 I'm guessing... that you're either quite young, english is not your first language, or you have trouble recognizing non-literal language. People can use fictional concepts in things such as analogies and metaphors. It you have issues taking things too literally, it's going to hinder your communication skills.

@AnnaC130 Yes, my cat very evidently, thinks that because I control light, heat, and food he doesn't have to chase, and saved 1 of his lives, that I can also stop the rain. From his perspective, why not? He makes this same 'disappointed' squeak, every time I tell him "No.", and he makes the same sound when I'm explaining how limited my power really is, and that I cannot control the sky. 😿

I could be wrong but from listening to the language I believe this is in India and in India cows are sacred beings in their religion. They protect and respect the cows. If a cow decides to cross a busy road there all traffic stops no matter how slow the cow walks and let’s the cow go by. It’s honestly a beautiful thing to see

One of our ferrets was badly abused by his previous owners. These are extremely intelligent and good natured little creatures. He had been starved by them, i could see his little ribs and it was obvious that he had been eating paper, carpet and we think bugs as well to fill his tummy. He was so scared of most sounds he would hide and shake. We leave hard food out all day and in the evening either a "soupie" mix that's like a more wet type of soft food or raw pieces of chicken. He was terrified of eating with us nearby and so we watched from across the room so we could be sure he was getting all the food he wanted and needed.... ...I'll never forget how about 4 days i was walking down the hallway with his soupies and i think that was the moment he realized he would never go hungry again and that he was safe... Because out of nowhere he did the most incredibly adorable thing. He ran ahead of me down the hallway but backwards and doing a little dance. That was when he stopped being afraid of eating in front of us too. We litter trained our ferrets so we didn't have to put them in a cage (i really hate caging) after he ate he crawled up in to our bed, gave me kisses and burrowd under the blanket to sleep. He sleeps with me every night now.

That’s Jupiter, a somehow famous lion in Colombia. It sparked a huge controversy in the Country until coronavirus came at it went below radar. Jupiter the Lion was “adopted” by that Lady when some “haciendas” from Narco lords were seized by the state. The lady kept the lion in good condition in a makeshift refugee near the city of Cali, Colombia which is near the Pacific coast. Refugee was mostly open to paying visitors to help cope with food cost. When a new law was enacted, Jupiter was ordered to be transferred to a “rural area” so an alligator farm near the Caribbean (Atlantic) coast took him in with unsurprising results. Jupiter was allegedly abused or neglected but the alligator farm owners kept the receipt copy of letters informing the authorities about how Jupiter was sick and they didn’t know what to do. Turns out Jupiter had kidney damage from what seems to be some kind of repeated heat-strokes, the new environment apparently was too hot and humid for an old lion. When it hit the news, the government went from one extreme to the other and Jupiter was airlifted back to Cali and taken care of by a set of vet specialists like never seen before (It is even reported that Jupiter went under Renal Replacement Therapy- blood dialysis) all paid with public funds. Obviously it sparked a huge controversy about why the government spent all those resources when there are kids and old people who die everyday having no access to medical services or good sanitation across the country. (Not to the extreme of dying from hunger, Colombia is not Venezuela, yet) But then came Cov19, a new President an everyone forgot about that.

Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven, you must become a new creation and be born again by responding to the Holy Spirit. - Matthew 7:21-23, Revelation 3:15-16 cf. Hebrews 10:26-29. Pay close attention to your thoughts and how you respond to your inner monologue because it has a greater impact than you think. Yes, great job on all, with one caveat. There have been some stories in the past, like one where humans tried to save their dog who was in the water. The result being the people drowned & the dog was able to swim to shore. You really have to use your judgment on this & realize people have to come first.

Elephants, the biggest nose, the biggest ears and the biggest brain in the terrestrial kingdom. The biggest brain ever evolved on this planet is the Sperm whale. Every year they make up a new song and they spy hop and let loose until they have all agreed (all the whales) where they will meet up for spring break. An Alligator has a brain the size of a walnut. And we think we are the top of the food chain.

@@SealWithHat what a childish retort. Someone expressing distaste at another for basically calling humanity as a whole, billions of people who just want to live their lives and do no harm, cruel and mean, is not only completely and utterly reasonable, but not even remotely comparable or even in the realm of being related to the aforementioned statement of the OP. Eduardo. Please don't actually think you just made a point. I refuse to believe it's possible for someone to conflate these two things and wrap them under the same conclusion of thought or morality. Let alone pessimistic similarities. In fact, your desperate need to defend a wholesome to the core counter to a negative and harmful comment, only tells the rest of us thinking humans that you clearly share the same nasty negative views. Hence the sad attempt to defend them. Move on Eduardo. Funny you should mention a raccoon. While I've seemed to attract all SORTS of animals to me ever since I was a kid (I'm just a few months shy of 60 yrs now) the ONE (wild) animal that I've always seemed to attract, and gotten along with, the most are raccoons. From California to Louisiana along the East Coast all the way up to WA State everywhere I've lived I seen to have wounded and/or hungry (as in starving) raccoons that have shown up on my porch or doorstep seeking help. And while I know it's said you shouldn't attempt to have contact with them (and for good reasons, too, as they can carry rabies and other diseases. Not to mention their claws and teeth can do quick and terrible damage to you. Plus, if you have pets, as in dogs and cats especially, the raccoons are often capable of seriously injuring or even killing them) I've, nevertheless, been unable to turn them away or ignore them when they've come asking for my help. Maybe I've just been lucky but so far I've NEVER had even ONE so much as snarl, growl or even accidentally scratch me... And even though I've fed all of them by hand, too. In fact, it's been rather common for them to show up around lunch or dinner time and actually come sit down beside me (or even occasionally sit in my lap) and share my meal with me. I made friends with another injured raccoon here at my home about 12 yrs ago. He stayed around while I nursed him back to health (he, sadly, had lost a paw) and when he was better and I'd fattened him up he just took off one day. Thought I'd never see him again when he didn't show back up after a few months. But then one day, about 2 yrs later, I heard a scratching at my back patio door and when I went to look, who was there but my little friend!! He seemed as happy to see me again as I was of him and he stayed around for a few weeks coming to eat with me every day before he disappeared again. For the next (roughly) 8 yrs or so he would show back up to the house almost every year, stay a few months and then disappear for awhile again. Sadly, he's been gone for almost 3 yrs now and I hope that he's still alive and doing well. I miss him and look forward to hopefully one day getting to either see him again or make a new, wild, furry friend. Don't see how people can harm innocent creatures if they're no threat to ones safety. I've also found that, like yourself, interaction with these wonderful creatures greatly helps me with my PTSD. I'm a Marine and LEO veteran and sustained serious wounds/injuries in both fields (including being shot in the head) and I'm now confined to an electric chair to get around. I only have partial use of one shoulder and lost much of the use of my hands. So, animals are my outlet and I love them as much as they seem to love (or at least tolerate, LOL!!) me. Take care and here's wishing you continued health and long life, one disabled veteran to another.

The man who saved the mama dog and her pups is a true hero. If it had been me, I'd let them live with me! I've always had a soft spot for dogs!

What wonderful examples of pure kindness ❤️ I have my own example too! A few months ago, my dad was walking at the edge of our neighborhood. Next to a four lane road, he spotted a mother duck trying to get her ducklings across, because there was water on the other side. So my dad immediately stepped out into the street to direct cars around the ducklings, and he even had to help a couple of them over the curb, since they were too little to hop it on their own. All the ducklings got to the water with their mother, and luckily my dad wasn't hit by a car either (it just so happened that it wasn't too trafficky at the time)! I love that he didn't even hesitate to help those animals; I'm proud to call him my dad 🥰

Wow, I was impressed with the trust animals put in humans while they have so much to fear from them. Touched very much by the lady who found her dog back under the mess the hurricane left, but also the guy who did everything to get his buddy out of a burning car! And praise to all the humans acting and come to the rescue but especially those who risked their lives in wild water etc. to rescue the animals. 🙏🙏🙏
