I started business with Madagascar more than 10 years ago and it was just first time I have visited Madagascar in June, 2024. Great country with natural, and the so lovely Indian Ocean in Tulear. Yes, it is true, travelling by car is very slow and difficult, I took about 2 hours and a half from Tulear to Savana Beach, where is about 40KM. Good food, good weather, good people, good place. And I really would like to bring my family there again!

Hi thanks for the Video. Me, my wife and a few friends would like to come and live in Nosy Be for 7/8 months of the year. We are Italians and I know there are many more Italians. A little bit of French we know. We hope it will be possible. We will go, to try, to a residence for at least a month and so we can see better how it works. Do you recommend it to us? Thank you bye Gianni and Cecilia

Hi! Very useful video, thank you! :) I have a question. Do you think it is worth it to go to Madagascar in the rainy season? I'm thinking about next January but a lot of people say it rain so much that it's impossible to explore the island. I will appreciate your answer

I love the idea to go to Madagascar, but do you think it's a good idea to go there as my very first out of country vacation? Im trying to inform myself more, but it's still kinda scary to me
@lasantinah60204 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think it depends of what kind of traveler you are! If you want to visit different region as a backpacker you definitely need someone with you ( local guide ). If you are the type of traveler who just want to relax in a hotel and enjoy the beach you won’t have any problems especially if you go to Nosy be there are a lot of tourist over there the whole year.. I do understand the fear of you need a local guide I will be able to recommend you one

Are you required to take Vaccines against tropical diseases .. Malaria, Yellow Fever etc? Is it Mandatory??
@lasantinah60203 жыл бұрын
As far as I know it is not mandatory but I would suggest to have you anti malaria pills with you as you can easily get it over there.

@@lasantinah6020 thank you Santinah, you are pretty. One more question. :) Obtaining Madagascar citizenship is probably not possible, you have to be born there, but how do I stay there long term, as an 'expat' for example? What are the conditions. Foreigners cannot buy land, but they can lease it for 99 years (😎 good enough for me). 'How does one "move" to Madagascar" permanently?
@lasantinah60203 жыл бұрын
@@chriscool1680 so you can first get a tourist visa for a maximum of 3 months, then you can open your company over there or you can get a lease for 99 years indeed ^^ or if you get married with a malagasy it get also be an option. If you have more questions you can send me an email at santinah.le@gmail.com I ll try to give you information 🙂

Hahaha effectivement les comprimés anti palu est le plus important.I have been staying in Madagascar for 2 and half years.The first 6 months I took my anti malaria pills everyday then I stopped because I foolishly told myself that I will be ok then one year later I got malaria in Ambanja ,for two weeks I was in a semi coma and it took me 3 months after that to be able to walk properly.But the good side with Malaria if you don't die is that you loose a hell of a lot of weight.I used to be overweight and since then I'm slim and sexy as hell .hahaha

If you are black Americans or Canadians traveling to Madagascar. I recommend that you avoid stopping in France and in Italy. Choose to go different routes like via South Africa, Kenya, Dubai, or Turkey. These 2 countries of white supremacy do not like to have black from other nations to go there since they controlled most of the Malagasy wealth and minerals. They found us to be a treat.

(2 Thumbs-Down)! I wanted to like this video, but couldn't. Very disappointing & perhaps prejudiced! You spent ~10 minutes talking about Madagascar, mentioned proximal geo-locales/Indian Ocean, Re-Union, Mauritius... ethic/cultural foundations & culinary influences by the French, S-East Asians/Indonesians, Malaysians, Bruneian,... You never mentioned a single word about Africa/Africans - the most important foundations/ethnicities & cultural influences! How convenient! How could you?
@lasantinah60204 жыл бұрын
Yes you are right , considering the fact that Madagascar is a part of the African continent I didnt think it was necessary to mention as for me it was obvious but sorry if I wasn’t specific about it. I ll make sure to be more specific
@plouplou1136 Жыл бұрын
So funny. Most of people in madagascar consider that we are in indian ocean not part Africa even though we are inside the continent but that we are getting used of being inside indian ocean than Africa that's why we are more related to other indian ocean island than Africa. Another thing we rarely share something in common about Africa even the news,... everything comes from Europe or indian ocean.
