I love how people pretend the MCU was ever good and act as if it’s just now a clusterfuck of worldbuilding and character assassinations. It’s always been a mess, nothing has changed aside from the amount of “canon” content (since there actually used to be more MCU content released pre-Disney+ with all the garbage ABC shows and the far better Netflix shows)

I sort of agree. Even though the Echo series on Disney+ was abysmal, Disney has delayed Captain America: Brave New World and Daredevil: Born Again to 2025 for necessary rewrites and reshoots, and Deadpool and Wolverine (formerly titled Deadpool 3) is the only new Disney-Fox-Marvel movie to come in 2024. Next year, we will get the new MCU Fantastic Four.

Yes, because Sony is not going to make the same mistake twice of re-releasing a lame comic book superhero movie that has been mocked into oblivion with punny memes. Madame Web has the same dumb writers who made Morbius, and even they are smart enough to not make another same mistake twice - forcing Madame Web to connect to the MCU through Peter Parker's birth or after-credits scenes when they know the story of their own film is not strong enough to stand on its own. They fooled us once by bringing back Michael Keaton's Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming into Morbius, but they will not fool us twice or fool themselves twice by doing anything like that again in Madame Webb.
