Let’s all take a moment to appreciate what Sean has gone through to make this video. He bought a ticket to watch Madame Web in a theater, drove to a theater, and then watched Madame Web. After that, he had to formulate his thoughts on Madame Web. And finally, Sean shot, edited, and uploaded this review. That takes a lot of inner strength to do all of that.

VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY (who is also directing VENOM 3) MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT (Who are also behind MADAME WEB) And KRAVEN THE HUNTER has the writers from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT AVI ARAD ruined everything again And he isn't even involved in MADAME WEB

It's just desperation for Sony to keep the Spiderman license. That's why we don't get great movies & they keep hiring low class writers to produce unnecessary filler content. This movie just dropped the nail & ruined future box offices for Kraven, Venom 3, & other movies for Sony.🙄

They wasted Riot & Carnage, Morbius was a complete waste of time, Madame Web was a huge waste of potential, Kraven idc about at all, & I don't have high hopes for Venom 3 or future Spiderman Sony movies. It's just a really lazy attempt at building out a universe to eventually have a Sony Avengers event film, but that's never gonna happen with this low effort crap.😑

Possible spoilers ahead, be warned. This was a very frustrating movie for me because I thought the premise was really interesting, and I thought the scenes where Cassie was seeing into the future were cool and well-done, and the cinematography wasn't bad with some nice long tracking shots. But everything else was just awful. The writing, acting, editing, and dialogue were passable at best and dreadful at worst. However I did think some of the jokes were funny, and the main actresses did pretty well with the material they were given. But the most egregious flaw to me is the fact that LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TIME they were suited up was IN THE FUTURE. And not in real time. The ENTIRE MOVIE is basically a prologue to what we really wanted to see. And this I simply cannot forgive because no way are we getting a sequel.

Madame Web wishes us an early Halloween as the words of ISB supervisor Blevin ring out in all our minds "It took the combined ingredients of idiocy, ineptitude, and total disengagement for this farce to have reached the full apex of incredulous disaster." 10:02 I remember when I was living on a college campus (on the top floor of my dorm) and it faced an empty threat I locked myself in my room so not even my roommate (who was off campus for unrelated reasons) could go in it, and only went outside to go to class and eat. I acted with my agency when my college faced an empty threat than when these "characters" are actively being hunted down by a dangerous killer.

From the reviews I thought it was gonna be terrible. I watched it today, and somehow, shockingly, I was kinda pleasantly surprised? Of course it wasn’t like a great movie at all, but it wasn’t terrible at all either. I had very very low expectations and literally thought it was gonna be so bad. But, it turned out alright for me in my honest opinion. And it was soooo much better than Morbius. Morbius is still my least favourite. Also I love Dakota Johnson, she was fantastic in Madame Web

I went in with low expectations and ended up really enjoying it. Some scenes looked amazing! The script was bad in spots but also quite clever in spots. The cast was good and there was some good tension. It's not a great film but I had a fun evening. Those of you that haven't actually seen the film should hold off on commenting until you have seen it.

And the thing about this review is that it's a glowing endorsement compared to the evisceration the movie is getting elsewhere. I thought it looked like what you would get if Asylum Studios did a Spiderman knock-off but without the "we-know-we-make-bad-movies-and-we-don't-care" cheap cherrfulness of Asylum.

Wouldn’t call it boring. No, the spectacle wasn’t big like every other superhero film. I don’t think it was meant to as it was telling her origin story. I don’t think it was meant to be fun either. I like how they didn’t try and bring every superhero in. Yes, a lot of Spider-Man Easter eggs but that’s the world she’s from. Honestly felt like it WAS trying to tell her origin story well. The acting wasn’t great, cheesy at times. The villain wasn’t great. But the scene where she went and “explored what the audience already knew” isn’t totally true. I had no idea her mom was exploring to find a cure so caught me off guard. Haven’t seen a positive word about it yet but I enjoyed it as its own film. I miss movies that don’t bring iron man , captain America, and 7 different Spider-Man’s into them. Maybe I’m an idiot but that’s just my opinion apparently! 😂

This was a really weird experience watching because so many of the actors delivered terrible performances at a level I don't think I've seen since the late 90s, it's reminding me of Candyman 3: Day of the Dead which might be the worst movie I've ever seen. The main villain in particular was so bad that it took me out of the movie. I went to see it because I wanted to know why this guy was wearing a Spider-Man suit (one that looks a lot like Miles Morales's suit), but nope, we didn't even get that.

Imagine Queens which is ofstensively about Peter Parker as a baby but every episode is actually about Cassie, Anya, Julia and / or Mattie using their powers to fight crime. Oh and we don't know where Julia, Mattie or Anya get therir powers from. They just skip that.

I am not surprised how the movie turned out. No idea how Dakota Johnson keeps getting work. She got none of the ability of either of her parents and plays the same emotionless, monotone character in every movie. But Sony just simply has no idea what to do with these far outside Spidey characters. The ONLY reason they make these films is so they retain the rights to the Spider-Man IP. Jey, if they are willing to waste tons of money on dog crap movies...well, i guess that's one way to run a business.
