It's strange that you don't know this band, I thought it was popular also in the USA. In Italy it was as famous as Nirvana when it came out with the first hard rock albums.

I love this song, Skin has a really beautiful voice! She has done a couple of featuring with Marlene Kuntz, "La canzone che scrivo per te" and "Bella ciao" (this is an anthem of the Italian partisans who opposed Nazism and fascism and that is sung worldwide as a hymn of freedom and resistance, last year you reacted to this song, but not this version) and in 2015 she has been a judge in the Italian X Factor

Skunk anansie were a big deal in UK Rick in the late 90's. I saw them live twice, once with support from a 3 piece band called Muse, and once headlining Glastonbury festival. Stoosh was a cool album with the bouncy Twisted, political We love your apathy, and conflicted Hedonism (just because it feels good). The anticipation for their next album, Post orgasmic chill, was pretty big and opening track and first single Charlie big potato didn't disappoint (with a really creepy video). You'll follow me down is from the same album, and along with Secretly are two of the calmer songs on the album, showcasing the sweeter side of Skins voice. On the heavier end, In addition to Charlie big potato are things like the anti-racism song We don't need who you think you are and the riff driven Skank heads.I'll admit after that I lost track but they have 3 more albums since. Anyway, a few of those songs also got good quality live recordings courtesy of jools holland (host of this video) as well as varying quality ones from gigs. I hope you did end up checking them out some more. Skins voice is like no other soft, sweet, warm, or screeming banchee, but distinctive and her accolades include singing with pavarrotti and at Nelson mandelas birthday, and the rest of the band are talented too.
