That meteorite drop is a Rinnegan technique called Tengai Shinsei. That's its Japanese name, the way Almighty Push in Japanese is Shinra Tensei, Universal Pull is Bansho Tennin, and Planetary Devastation is Chibaku Tensei. Tengai Shinsei is called Shattered Heaven in English. The reason I named the above Rinnegan techniques in particular when sorting out Japanese vs English names is because these four techniques are all governed by the Tendo path of the Rinnegan, also known as Tendo arts. Tendo arts are gravity manipulation techniques. This one in particular is also a Susanno jutsu aside from being a Tendo art, as it requires a caster to make three simultaneous hand seals.

I think that first scene with rinnegan was a mistake of the animation, cause just after the mangekyo appears. It was to be a eye evolution, so they put that fast scene out of order. Anyway. That is THE EPISODE.

Madara would have died against her, why ppl mindlessly overrating Madara because he taijutsued fodder no names in this episode and ignore that when a named character not even that strong (Temari) enters the fight, he is not having it easy anymore. He is strong indeed but that's only because he have all the op techniques there is in this manga and have alot of experiance, he is not really smart or skilled and makes mistakes because he is way too cocky.
