Kishimoto did a grat job building up the hype for Madara in the story and anime did a great job delivering on his first showing. When Naruto(show) peaks it is awesome.

Because Madara here is much stronger than when he is still alive. Like Kabuto said he make him more powerful than he is at his peak. Plus when he battling Hashirama he doesnt have the Rinnegan yet.

@@wizard105able that my friend is false, he had more abilities but is weaker than his alive version. For further proof , hashriama at one point in the future says “he is regaining his past strength” when revived and goes on to solo the alliance with closed eyes.

@@wizard105able that's not true. As you can see, hashirama beat madara when hashirama was renaimated but then lost when madara was revived.

@@wizard105able he both isnt and is stronger right now, he has more abilities now compared to when he fought Hashirama and can spam more because of the reanimation but the actual power of his attacks are weaker but not by a whole lot.

The byakugan is the better eye VISUALLY it just that kishimoto doesn’t showcase much compared to the sharingan

Byakugan is an eye of any ootsutsuki. It was inherited by both Kaguya sons and later the Hyuga clan. However, with enough Chakra and emotion development buyakugan evolves into sharingan, later rinnegan and rinnesharingan in the end. This is how Hagoromo could get Sharingan and then Rinnegan, same goes for Madara. Madara and Momoshiki get Rinnesharingan after absorbing huge amounts of otsutsuki Chakra (Juubi/Shinju or another ootsutsuki).
