Thanks for watching! We were in Madarao in February. It’s hard to say if the snow would be good in December as late December is usually the start of the season.

We brought our own skis. But there are places in Madarao to rent.

Between this and Hakuba, which one do you recommend? We are new for skiing

If you are brand new then I think Tsugaike in Hakuba is more suitable. There are many resorts in Hakuba but not all are suitable for beginners.
