It’s not a fun trip ‘cause I’ve traditionally loved football games like Gameday 97/98/99, Madden 94/95/97/2000/01/02/03/04/05/06/07/08/10/12/15/I guess the four games of 17 counts, some of the Gamebreaker games, most of the EA NCAA football games on PS3 and 04 on PS4....anyway, I used to play a lot of football games. I don’t anymore, and to date, I haven’t played a new football game since Madden 17. I was extremely disappointed.

I got the chance to see a demo of the RFID chips in the pads. It wasn't related to madden but just a new tool being used by the NFL. This was 3 years ago and I did not get the impression it could be used to tell what way the players where facing but rather their locations on the field. We put on pads and ran a play then could watch an X and Os animation and could track where we were on the field. They mentioned wanting one in the ball but there were issues to work out with that(maybe have done that by now)

(Long story) But this game is awful. Me and a group of buddies were haven’t a friendly tournament and I was down by 3 with 1:37 left of game. My defense is on the field to stop my buddy GreenBay packers on 1st down he throws a slant which made it a 32 yard play but fumbled , I picked it up then his RT hit my DB that and made me fumble which ended up in his team recovering the ball. Madden has a booth review on the spot and was called reversed. Next play it is 2 and 75 the game flipped the ball to the opposite side of field which made me able to shut him down and take the win.

Okay I'm not sure if anyone has already brought this up but the biggest thing that spoke to me while watching the trailer and both yours and Eric Rayweather's response to it was that I think the fact that loading times are so blazing fast is that it's actually a bad thing and hear me out 1st. If EA had truly taken advantage of the next gen capabilities then why would load time be so lightning fast? Yes I understand that systems are extremely better and faster but all I could think about is that EA has almost certainly just plugged the same stadiums and mapping into a better system. The fact that the innovation has left ea has been shown. Suits continue to control madden an developers are not doing anything to say no. Madden 06 is forever what they fear but 21 next gen is worse in my opinion. Broken gameplay due to being scripted heavily, the ai can’t figure out what to do with the ball in the air because it’s blind from lack of coding that should be reworked from the ground up. I don’t have to work in the gaming industry to see and know what needs to be fixed because it’s right in the trailer. Lazy gold diggers of a company with no respect for those developers who made it before them, talking about the start to the end of madden 08. Haven’t seen innovation from that company in years and while I bought madden 20 I had hoped not having a madden since 13 that there would have a light in next gen but this is a deep dark hole opening into a dark cave and free falling to the ground. sooner ea will hit the core of the planet and burn, enough is enough. I think Ryan is missing something. He keeps bringing up Player weapons to compare to the player specific playcalling and I don't see that as being the same thing. But they literally have had that same exact feature of calling plays by player, formation or play type before, I believe in Madden 09 ps3 and he could have hit on that specifically. You used to be able to just crush the goalies back in the day, but EA kept changing the game to dis-allow you to play like that. Now you have to get really creative to level a goalie.
