Yes all this! Wish coaches / Coordinator names should be able to be edited they have a face / customization, why only limit it to the player career mode. All players should be editable too. I’d also add more relocation teams / expansion teams / custom teams. Bring back adding funds to teams. Transferable franchise, which would incentive more people to bring their franchise over to the next Madden. All of this is cosmetic mostly and not their priority but will bring huge worldplay immersion and would honestly make it the best Franchise mode we’ve missed in years!

Laugh if you want, but so many of the ideas and things used in the Head Coach 09 game would be great in Madden! The draft and things leading up to the draft especially. The scouting, the visits, the combine, it had it all. Player back stories, with mid draft commentary from Adam Schefter and Todd McShay. Many things about that game were ahead of their time, but have disappeared since.

well because they refuse to fix the name of certain positions on defense, we will still have AI signing EDGE rushers to play Off Ball LB, IDL to play EDGE, and Off Ball LB to play EDGE positions. The most fixable thing they still have not done. It's lazy at this point

I really wish franchise mode captured what else was going on in the league. When they used to have the weekly show that looked like an espn broadcast that would update you on what happened in the league for that week, to me that was the pinnacle of franchise mode. Even when they dumbed that down and made it weekly newspaper articles for each team, i still enjoyed that immersion and would read about every team just about every week. What we have now is a farcry from what i considered the pinnacle of franchise immersion

More needed Franchise improvements: • Trading: At least 5 Trade slots • Trading: Able to add future picks for the next 5 years instead of just 2 • Compensation Picks • In game play call limit options and cooldown should include offense / defense options. Currently you can only set for both instead of just one side of the ball. • Any player can play all and any position in substitution / depth chart substitution • Snapping should be a rating • Ability to edit coach and coordinator names and their appearance / face customization, currently they have the system in the game for full customization, why only limit it to the user career mode: Face of the Franchise when you can have it for the whole game? Or even bring back face scanning app: “EA Game Face” used previously for EA sports games • All players including and especially draft class players should be fully customizable • Coordinators with successful offenses or defense get more opportunities for HC jobs instead of just Former Head Coaches that have been just fired • More relocation teams (promised in M22) / and bring back expansion teams / custom teams. With at least 4 jerseys (Home, Away, Color Rush, Alternate. Looks pretty good. If this is gonna deliver though, is the question. It seems to have improved a lot with the free agent logic and signing as well as scouting. *New additions:* -6+ trade slots. Many trades such as the Russell Wilson trade require more than 3 trade assets. -Allow HC’s or coordinators to receive head coaching offers during the off-season.

I don't think a game has drained me as much as this one has in recent years. From 04-09 on the PS2, that was IT. 12 for the PS3 was incredibly promising, which is likely why EA gutted the thing wholesale the following year and we haven't had a good one since. From 25 to 17, I feel like they had some stuff that could've been built upon if EA cared to do so. Instead, their sole focus has been on milking Ultimate Team and the mindless masses who keep pumping money into busting packs that are only good until the next game drops. They're the overwhelming majority that EA is catering to now. Not the folks who rode with EA from day one long before Ultimate Team was even a thing.

This all looks great. Will there be diverse weather effects his year? Rain forecast during the game? A storm during the third quarter in Florida? Heavy snow pre game in New York, stopping, but light flurries return on and off during the game. The weather in the US is so diverse, unlike anything seen anywhere else and it is a major factor on game day. 38c in Miami the guys from a cooler state will be affected more due to the extreme heat. Playing in subzero temperatures can impact the field, the contact and the injuries to players. Players slipping, or just simply not playing well in the cold as they’re from a warmer state. It’s not just simply “oh it’s snowing” and the game plays exactly the same as playing on a warm afternoon in Tennessee. With these new graphical improvements and power these machines have, there’s so much potential.

I love the generational prospects thing. My only question is when you have a guy like that fully scouted, will it say that his talent is top 5, or generational? Sure he could be projected in the top 5 or the 3rd round, who knows... All I want is custom Unis for real, similar to the 2k system. You obviously need to have a better filtering system than 2k, but it's not like you didn't do it before with NCAA anyways. Beyond that give a more dedicated experience to fantasy drafts, let the player determine the draft order it's one screen that would take minimal work. Keep original salaries in fantasy draft to make it more difficult to draft compared to the payscale thing they have now.

I like the improvements to free agency. I want more slots for trading though. I would also really love if all the cool uniforms from the yard were available for expansion franchises instead of those three hideous uniforms that Madden provides. It's as if they don't want you to use expansion teams. For scouting I would prefer it to be a simpler and less time consuming process. It would be nice if I could assign entire position groups to be scouted in certain rounds rather than scout players one by one.

I am beyond HYPE that yal FINALLY put a lot of work into franchise mode these updates seem nice and this whole experience seems fun this actually has me thinking about the pre order. The only real thing that we have seen so far in franchise is free agency which looks better and from what I heard it is better. Anything has to be better than the old free agency system. I will be curious if they add anything else or if they just touch on the new free agency system. I sure hope that they add much more than just the free agency system. But as always I am not getting my hopes up yet. Let’s wait and see what EA does.

The trade system is probably still gonna be broken they said they fixed it last year and it was easy to get a franchise Qb. It shouldn’t be that easy to trade for one.

This is nice... but I wish they would add create a team back in the game.. or atleast give the player more customizing options to the game . Like creating our own uniforms , especially when the player uses one of the relocation teams ...

Do X-Factor players other than QBs get more than 2 superstar abilities in franchise mode? In previous franchise mode you can only have 2 superstar abilities unless you're a QB, even though Aaron Donald would have an X-Factor and 4 superstar abilities. I hate that. Takes away from the best players from really being special in franchise mode.

This is true, players that already have the dev traits and the abilities should keep the same abilities and amount of slots when starting franchise, after that, rookies and players that develop into superstars or x factors can have 2, and then as they grow, like up to a 85 overall, 90, 99 or whatever bench mark feels right in progression, they can add another slot to the player

I like it, but wish they would put more time in customization for the faces. Give better off season options. It's nice it works, but there's still a lot more work. Especially when 2K delivers so much more for their franchises in basketball or like MLB The Show. Wish they put more effort like these franchises. It's a start still more to do.

Make the draft board easier to manage. Like make it so we can put what pick to take certain guys with, it's hard to remember what round we should be taking certain players in, almost have to pause the draft and scout while it's happening.

When are the antiquated "position designations" going to be dropped? The NFL hasn't used LE, RE, ROLB, LOLB in years now. EDGE, IDL, LB are the position designations. Why has this very fixable thing not happened? No matter how much "logic" you put in to the game, we will still now have AI signing 3-4 LE to 4-3 schemes, we will still have 3-4 EDGE going to 4-3 as Off Ball LBs

It looks like they are making strides towards it. I saw in the trailer they used the word IOL instead of RG/LG/C so I think that eventually it will hopefully be fixed
