Until patch comes out all we can do is play man press and pray, db's keep backing up, flats keep backing up matxh is broken, it basically who ever have ball last or a lucky boom stick, I sold my team jist gonna wait till the patch comes out,people just throwing underneath routes crosser in bunch and mid deep throws because the db's keep backing up in cover 4 o 3, sometimes going in the opposite direction

Double mug cover 3 buzz blitz set second zone drop to 25 and preplay adjust coverage underneath to get hard flats because the blitz gets there quick. The block sheds for this defense are OP

If you want auto flip def off, you can set it to off in the main settings menu of the game and not have to worry about remembering to do it in every game. Edit: Also, zone drops can be pretty useful once your opponent gets inside your 30 yard line... they obviously can't get over the top of them anymore... I definitely use them inside the 10 and get a decent amount of stops.

Match is activated automatically on any play that says match at the bottom right of it. It’s usually the players with the lighter flat zones

Yeah it’s definitely weird. They’ve been changing too much stuff around pertaining coach adjustments, match principles and on field adjustments and it’s been making defense terrible. Cover 3 seem match with all zone drops set to default has been pretty good for me though. I’ll just typically put one of t he hook curls in a hard flat to stop check down

Coming from ncaa. It’s been beyond refreshing having good defense again. NCAA defense is god fucking awful. Literally had the best defense you can have and everyone’s getting killed everywhere. This game, my defense is an 82 rn. I’m having very little problems keeping ppl from scoring more than 20 a game
