I agree with you. I have pressure washed countless engines over the years and I've never had a single issue. I avoid spraying water directly INTO the alternator. That's pretty much it.

On 99-06 gmc and Chevy with any of the v8 engines you are likely get water into knock sensors and over time the will corrode and lose their ground to the engine.

I used to work in detail and between me and 2 others, detailing thousands of vehicles combined, only once did any car have any issue and it was one of their personal vehicles and it was just a small wire that was a $20 fix if that, on a jeep tj, and their engine bays are very open and wires are everywhere

Wow! Never ever apologize for doing a vehicle like this, this may belong to someone who takes pride in what they drive and they brought it to you for that reason. I know I said before that the Datsun you had reminded me of my father, but this truck was one that he had and used daily, only his was blue but the interior brings back memories of my youth. You also did an older Ford Bronco that brought back memories because it looked exactly like one I learned to drive stick shift in. Sorry for the long post but I just wanted to let you know you're doing an amazing job as always, keep up the good work!

Nice guys! A tip I use for the really buddy work/industrial trucks, keep a bucket of warm soapy water, when you use your microfiber to wipe, dunk in the bucket and wring out and reuse the towel, don’t go through near as many towels this way!

Ain't mad detailing one thing I've seen some auto detailers do their jack up the vehicle and put it on jack stands and take off the rooms and tires so they can wash both sides of rims and tires and completely have more room to wash the undercarriage and actually get all of the rim and makes it a lot easier to clean it sometimes when I do my trucks at the car wash in my car so I'll actually pull the tires too
