That's a really nice apartment. I always need big windows with natural light too. And that plant doesn't really look that out of place in the cart next to your desk. The green works well to break up the black from the desk and cart. I like having a plant close enough to my desk because sometimes I just need that tiny piece of nature there when endlessly staring at a screen.

that’s so true! I keep a little palm tree on my desk and I’ve gotten so used to it that now I can’t imagine the bareness without my green friend!😂💗
