@mahapatrachandrakant8 жыл бұрын
Yes. Lyrically, women are often treated like queens in most country songs. On the contrary, it is the men who are often dispensable and are the wrongdoers. Imagine if the gender roles were switched in "Think Before he Cheats" with the man vandalizing the woman's car because she cheated, that would have "lawsuit" written all over it. But if a woman does it, it's perfectly fine because it's "empowering". Double Standards much? Man in a country song.

@richardbrinker93648 жыл бұрын
@Daylen Coffman Bro-country songs are not about romance and taking a woman someplace nice. They are about one night stands (My Kinda Party) and taking women to dirt roads, riverbeds, cornfields, or just in the bed of their trucks (way to many songs to list.) They tell women to shake their ass and that that ass is why they want to be with them. Traditional country songs rarely did that, but this song is not addressing traditional country songs.

I'm just finding it for the first time and it so needed to be said! I didn't know these chicks were saying it way back when! :D I hate vice country and the worst is when the vice is women since that's also disrespectful.

Girls aren't objects. We are stronger than most guys, and stronger than most anyone knows. These girls stay true to their roots and a strong enough to point it out. The video is great, but the lyrics mean so much more.
