On my last trip to Goodwill I made a mistake.. and many of you let me know it! Today I'm returning to the same Goodwill location to see if I can make it right.... lets go thrifting and find out!
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Last time I was at Goodwill, I held THREE gorgeous cross stitched and framed pieces in my hands.... THEN I PUT THEM BACK! Today I'm returning to the same location to see if by any chance they are still there. Its later in the day on a Tuesday and the store was really busy, but the shelves were full and I found treasure after treasure! The color of the day is blue... all blue tags are half off... and I filled my cart with more than a few amazing things! Learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Stay to watch my haul featuring my two sweet cats, Bandit and Ziggy, who are napping together in the Goodwill take home box! I show you everything I found, what I paid and what I expect to get for it...... Please don't forget that you can BUY DIRECTLY from my HAUL. Sometimes I find something I absolutely love, but almost all of the items you see in my haul are for sale. Don't wait, I get hundreds of emails a day..... If you would like to purchase something I show for the price I quote (plus shipping to your zip code), please send an email with your mailing address, Paypal email, and a description, timestamp or screenshot of the item you would like to purchase, to ThriftingVegas.Tiffany@gmail.com.
After the haul, don't miss bonus footage of the beautiful table that I found and watch me add I couple of my finds to my collection. Also see Bear playing his favorite game of "Don't let Mum have the ball" at the park. Please don't forget that Bear has his own channel now, so tune in to enjoy his latest adventures.... please subscribe now at BearVonWeiss If you haven't had a chance to watch my new You Tube Shorts, please check out my HOW TO... playlist below! I release a Short every Tuesday! Now, join me, Tiffany, at Thrifting Vegas and...... Let's go thrifting!
Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE and HIT THE BELL to get a notification when I upload a new video!
If you are interested in purchasing an item from my haul, please DM me on Instagram; or email me at ThriftingVegas.Tiffany@gmail.com

My mom is a button collector. Those top buttons look '50s or '60s. You could lot up the carded ones. When you dig in look for bone, celluloid, pictorial or cameo buttons, china, military; single shanks are older. Whistle buttons have one hole and are very collectible.

I think some at least are 50's. To keep me occupied and out of the way when my grown sister came to visit; my mom gave me her metal, ♥ shaped, hinged sewing box.She took the largest button, strung it on some long thick thread w a needle. The tin was full of all size buttons. I was told to find & string the largest buttons 1st; then the next smaller ones, etc. I had to really concentrate & this became 1 of my favorite pastimes. I used this, "game " to occupy a hyperactive grandson also. What fun he had! Such good memories!

A pie crust table literally has a raised wood edge like a pie crust. The table you found is approximately 20 to 30 years younger than a pie crust table. Traditionally, a pie crust table was mahogany. But we’re all anxious to see what you do to the finish of the table you purchased! Judy

Tiffany, the famed quilted piece you found with the needle point birdcage was a piece of Hawaiian quilting very collectible and truly a piece of art. It would look nice with the pineapple piece you brought home. ☺ Upon further checking, I believe it's a "breadfruit pattern", which is usually the first pattern a Hawaiian quilter makes. It symbolizes a long and fruitful life for the quilter, filled with wisdom and abundance.

Yes, definitely a typical Hawaiian quilt pattern. Vegas is known as the 9th Island, since Hawaii folks love Vegas. Perhaps someone from Hawaii that moved there donated that before moving or inherited it, but didn’t appreciate it.

At 12:02 the box within a box that had all the spaces for collection’s. Of small figurines. They are always great sellers for me. I always pick them up whenever I see them. They are so easy to transform into something updated by pulling the back off adding a fun piece of wallpaper & repaint the back & Boxes on the front usually in white, black , or a lighter shade of stain. A good cleaning and fresh look with paint & wallpaper I can purchase these figurine boxes for less than $3 - $4 dollars and when I’m done Painting them it’s easy to sell them for $35.00 + dollars depending on the size of the boxes.

Tiffany, open it, Look for shaped buttons, bakelite buttons or lucite buttons, metal Victorian buttons. There are many collectible buttons. With just seeing the top layer it is hard to see what you have there. It looks to be from the 1960s or so. There may be older buttons from the 1950s or 1940s below the surface.

That's a primo collection either way, but Bakelite buttons are a great find. I know of a lady who uses them to create such unique brooch jewelry pieces. The cobalt moon suncatcher, also primo!! The little oil lamps reminds me of the year in the 70s when I was a teenager. That year was the one of sky high gas and energy prices. That Christmas my parents thought it best to not have the Christmas lights on our porch as we did every year. My sister and I had a collection of colored glass small oil lamps. We filled them and arranged them along the front porch railing ledge. They were so pretty. And their simplicity added to the the effect... You had a wonderful haul today.🌷

Can not wait to see what you do with that piecrust table, if it was me I would clean it, sand ,wood fill and glue any issues. Then decide if it should be polyurethane or stain, it is worth the time and as I am collector of antiques and vintage keeping it as it and not paint old furniture some can be worth so much. Always watching your videos, I have noticed that it is getting harder to find vintage and older pieces.

Thank you Tiffany! I wish you would price the cross stitch art higher. Like 35$ on the small one and 60 one the large. They are so well done, both the embroidery and the framing. I would guess that the material alone cost almost as much. Female artists are underrated in our society!

Small cracks will almost disappear is you boil them in sweet milk, that is just regular milk. I did it will a nice cookie jar and the crack was really tight and you could hardly see it. This is just for your ingo.

I enjoy learning what you think will resell online. Some things look like everyday items with no value, but you know so much about these items and wouldn't pick them if they were not items of value. It's so interesting, thanks for the info! ☮️❤️😊

Hi Tiffany. Great finds. I love the table. It will be amazing no matter what you decide to do. The legs are awesome. Can't wait for an update..I am guessing the snap fixture inside the Laura Ashley purse had a key fob that matched the purse that snapped to ease finding your keys. The cute little oil lamps probably has different shades because one probably was replaced after breaking one. But they are cute. The tin full of Buttons You really should take everything out and inspect. If all new old stock buttons adds even more value. And if any are really old and could be Bakelite(which you will smell)Or celluloid(run hot water over will smell like moth balls or Vicks) or even Lucite. All can be valuable to collectors. I've even found sterling buttons very ornate and old. Have Fun 💐

At 25:16, there were 3 footed older glass banana split dishes that were quite unusual. They sell well as ice cream parlour things sell extremely well.

Wow I did not see those cross stitch pieces. I would have grabbed them ASAP. I got two today. One an interesting medium sized sampler I shall have professionally framed. The other a 10 x 10 flowers in a white vase.

The little wood house is a very small Spirit House. They are from Thailand. That's probably the smallest house I've seen. The bigger the spirit house, the more ornate it is. They are always wood and all have a feel of the far east. Also, with the button tin were 2 others. The one right behind it had needles, thread etc. BUT...I also saw unusual thimbles. It was difficult to tell as it wasn't shown much but I think I saw 1 fired clay thimble and one wood thimble on top. On the quick view, I think one was an animal carving and the other was shaped like a person's head? Like I said, didn't get much of a look, just a glance. I'm sure there were others - based on the buttons, I'm guessing she had many thimbles acquired over many years. Thimbles can go for big $$. There are many thimble collectors out there.

I very much enjoy your videos. Love seeing the cats looking over your haul. Please don't paint the pie-top side table. Take the time to refinish it. There's a lot of how-to's on Google if you're not sure about dealing with the cracks.

FYI, at the 8:56 mark on your video, behind the rabbits, is a Mervyn's California Mission Village Church. Those have long been discontinued. There are 21 in the series. I have most of them myself. They are listed on Ebay between $40 and $60 on average. Among the several villages I set up for the holidays, one is my southwestern collection of mission churches and it just looks beautiful. Accessories were sold separately. Makes for a charming Christmas display. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that if it is in good shape, it is worth taking a second look at. Most of the Goodwill buys I have made on mine that I didn't get from Mervyn's before they went out of business, were in the neighborhood of $5 - $8. Just thought I'd let you know that is a possibility to make some money. :)

Had a couple of questions for you... First of all thank you for explaining things a bit more in detail... Would you be able to make a video on how you ship the items what boxes you use...how you wrap the pottery and glass items...what kind of packing material you use...what shopping service you use... The other one maybe about if and how you keep track of the items you buy and sell...
