When I moved to the Big Island in 1973 Hilo airport consisted of four pipe columns and a tin rain roof, all open air. That was beautiful pre eruption days, pre crowd days as well. Aloha

Well done! Hilo is my home, so I watched with particular interest as to how you would represent 'my' island. Aside from the pronunciation of "Puʻuhonua" (as in "Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau") you did a really good job showcasing some of the very best of the Big Island. So glad you came...and if you come again, I have some other delights to share, like malasadas at Tex Drive-in, Waipiʻo Valley, and Papakōlea Green Sand Beach. (I could go on and on...I fell in love with the Big Island in 1983 and I truly love the very best of all the islands.)
