Im glad you mentioned the tap water. Too many tourists buy bottled water, when the tap water is perfectly safe to drink! Always have one bottle that you will refill everywhere.

Reindeer do indeed roam free in the summer, if you drive through the Lapland, you are going to see some reindeer crossing the roads, especially during the day. Pretty sure a herd has a gps tracker so it can be tracked when contact is needed. Also congrats!

Omg! What a coincidence yesterday i was reading about the formation of aurora or the polar lights, I was thinking to find how does it look in reality, ur videos comes in front!actually these are formed in thermosphere as gases in that layer decreases leaving 0.01℅ and hence few elements are left like H, He etc in separate form hence they excite when it receives ray and release energy . when it wanted stable again its doesn't have ionization energy as it already released hence it release small twinkling lights known as photons. These light may be in different colors on the basis of elements from which it Ionisises. Known polar light or Northern light 😅 Loved the blog ❤ thank u u memorize my topic

We stayed in this resort during new year this year. One of the most lousiest staff. Most looked like interns having very little idea and lying with confidence. We were staying in Igloo and were asked to take our luggage ourselves. Later all our neighbours came by shuttles. Felt like racism. Every time we asked for shuttle it was busy. For airport transfer they charged 8000 INR for two people in a bus which was more than what a private taxi cost. One day we stayed in cabin, to our surprise for wood logs there was extra charge of 35 euros after paying 680 euros for the one night booking. Igloo which costed us 70k INR for a night didn’t had a shower area. Shower area was common, few mins walking in -18C and if one shower was on, other won’t get hot water. Dinner wasn’t a buffet but a set menu like Shatabdi. And Salmon soup was a joke, like one half inch of salmon piece was all there was. Dessert which was icecream was served with main course, so eat fast or eat it melted. for 2h husky ride where actual ride was just 1h costed 20k per person on a shared sledge. There were zillion more problems to this resort but I’ll let other victims google reviews answer to it. In nutshell we spend lakhs of rupees to get zero luxury and a frustrating experience. We have been to 27 countries and uncounted hotels, this resort was worst of all in reality. Our one night stay in an inn in saariselkä town which costed 1/5th of the price was more enjoyable. Oh I forgot, igloo so called laser glass wasn’t working, snow didn’t melt completely, so we had to walk out of igloo to keep a check on northern lights. (And too many lights to see northern lights on a low kp index day)
