Thank you so much for watching and for the kind comments! It really depended on the event and the DJ line up so for instance Brainwash played an assortment of different soca (from varied islands) because there was a line up of varied DJ's; I could say the same for Caesars Army AM Bush, Soaka Street I heard a lot of Trini soca but from old to new; primarily heard soca/calypso music throughout the entire trip. On the road is where it kind of got repetitive with a few of the more popular Trini soca songs but then you kind of have to keep in mind the count for Road March song is still a competition so that may add to it. Hopefully I answered all of your questions.

I went to Trinidad Carnival 2023 it was good. Ive had better times the prior years but it wasnt bad. Beachhouse wasnt that great , probably wont be doing that next year but Phuketttt ❤❤❤❤ Every time i go to that fete, it never fails. Hope to see you next year 😊🎉🥰🥳🙏💃💃

Yes, everyone in the band I was in got the same thing in fact Lol some ppl were actually complaining about Bliss' goodie bag - my Monday wear goodie bag had more snacks and items but can't beat the portable speaker. Not sure about the other bands. Thanks for watching!

Honestly it gave all those jouvert parties out now a big run for their money.And private ryan gave out mad paint and powder/water .To top it off he had souvenirs and good music right through .Not missing it again tbh

I think my flight came is thurs close to yours bcuz I was side eyeing everyone’s gift bags lol Most ppl think AMBush isn’t the same at the Race Track vs De Bush. Soaka tix we’re worse than hunger games, I wanted to go, but it was ridiculous. SBW I can miss. Food, drinks, & Devore we’re great. Soca Baby stage was better than the main stage to me. I wish I had a beach day & ate more, especially local food. 😭😭😭 I skipped Jouvert too, but I went to Imagine (Elements) so it wasn’t a big upset and I was early for my makeup apt Monday morning. Tues I was so late for my make up appt but I was happy with the way it turned out. I “ran into” Showtime & Paparazzi before going to Last Lap and they were both jamming. Vibes! I got drinks from their trucks no prob, both bands had amazing staff. Last Lap seen me for 2secs and I was out. Thanks for sharing! I love seeing everyone’s perspectives.

I have to agree about Bush I was like hmmm maybe it’s just me but I’ve definitely had a better time at the event - maybe next time I’ll try elements but if I go to T&T again I definitely want to do more touristy and food stuff and cultural events like Canboulay Riots or Dimanche Gras because I’ve never been. Lololol probably did come in around the same time for sure it was so late lol and they shut down the carnival greetings at the airport entrance as we stepped out 😆😆😆 - wish I had more time at SBW but a few ppl said they can miss it as well hopefully the price doesn’t continue to go up and up.
