I like how the enemies from the start (Miles and Bill) team up at the end to help get rid of the hillbilly baddies before getting back to their personal feud. A few other movies do that too, I just can't remember them.......

Why in tf would a person who's leaving that town (talking about the englishman) why tf would he be walking through a field instead of staying on the road and waiting till someone is driving to give him a ride or jack their car would be the wisest move for a person trying to get out of there

I don't know, he was a "great driver" and a survivor up until then. If he was smarter when he talked to Kyle when in the bear trap, maybe by a fraction of a percent, he would have lived. I guess he just wanted to stay out of sight after what just happened.
