I made some Vegan Soup Dumplings, and they exceeded my expectations. Surprisingly, many soup dumplings contain gelatin, making them non-vegan. But don’t fret! With this recipe, you can now enjoy vegan dumplings. 🤩🌱🥟
Soup Dumpling Broth ingredients:
2 cups water
2-3 tablespoons tamari
1-2 tablespoon vegan oyster sauce
Half cube of vegan chicken bouillon cube or 1 tsp of bouillon paste
3-5 dried shiitake mushrooms
Scallions
Crushed red pepper
White pepper
Pinch of sugar
Pinch of salt (if needed)
Simmer for 10 mins and then whisk in 2-3 tbsp of agar agar powder. Transfer to the fridge to cool down. As the broth cools down it will become a jelly. This takes 30-90 mins. 🌱
