the fact that carlos was really mad at lisa just for yawning blew me away. like WHAT? he acting like he never yawned before 😂

Yeah, but remember, he’s a narcissist. So his fragile little ego gets sets off by any little thing because he thinks everything is a reflection on him. So he’s thinking, “Oh, you’re yawning? You think I’m boring? You trying to tell my friends I’m boring. Make them think something is wrong with me?!?” Now he’s mad. I’ve seen it in family moments a thousand times, it’s sad.

Victoria was vicariously living through Lisa. She knew Lisa was in an abusive relationship with Carlos & she didn’t save her. She treated Vanessa like shit & allowed her to be sexually assaulted by her husband. I would like to request the following movies: Daddy’s Little Girls Why Did I Get Married The Family That Preys Why Did I Get Married Too Temptation

So, and I mean absolutely no disrespect when I asked this, but do ya'll see light skinned black guys as different, or is it just that it's always the "closer to white" savior. I'm Filipino, and different shades of color do get treated very differently in The Philippines, at least, in certain areas.
@Epodmusic17 Жыл бұрын
Honestly? I do hear a lot of "dark skin, light skin" stuff. I live in the south in North America so I've heard light skin women treat darker skinned women badly for being too dark. I've seen dark skinned women beat up light skinned women and cut their hair out of jealousy. I've heard people say "he must have been light skinned" when a man exhibits certain negative behaviors, so on and so forth. It really can become a major back and forth in this country. And don't even get me started if the light skinned person is biracial. Then it becomes even more of a debate. But that's a topic for another time.

Can you just shut up about that "light skinned man saving a woman from a dark skinned man" narrative?? Its not even true. Boris is not light skinned and neither is shemar moore. And the guy in "Why did I Get Married" who "saved" Sheila wasnt light skinned either. He was between brown skinned and dark skinned. Stop pushing that false narrative. Smh Name me FIVE movies from tyler Perry where a light skinned man was the savior of a woman. Ill be waiting
