I loved this interview! I am also a dyslexic and dyspraxia performer and lines do not come to me naturally at all. I am now in a play where I am not only trying to remember lines, but the lines are in a different language to my own native, which I speak daily, I am going to be playing the part of the secretary who is in charge of the gates of hell, so...totally normal. If there are any lines I forget, I write in an app called 'inkflow' where I can remember words, but they have to be in colour, not in black and white because I will not remember them like that. Who needs black and white anyway, it's boring! Anyway back to the language thing. My native language is English, but the language that I am acting in for this show is Latvian! My dad was from Riga, Latvia. He came with family in WW2 from Germany, after my grandmother was trying to get all of them from there to London. As a family, even though, my dad wasn't officially diagnosed, we know for sure my dad was also dyslexic and I have inherited the same traits as my dad. I often get 'a' s and 'e' s mixed up. But, hey we all have our special traits right?
