nice video and enjoy it watch ...long time no go old passion one my favourite walks,,35 years ago did my first walk to caldeirao verde and caldeirao do inferno,as one the few more dangers walks in madeira ,,,can be complete disaster and fatal ,,anywa thank you for share your experience

We definitely will choose the Caldeirao Verde. We did it few times and every time we’ve enjoyed it so much! It’s much more adventurous than the 25 Fontes one ❤️🥰

Hi there! 😊 thank you for kind words. We always did this trail in the afternoon and it was never busy. Usually people prefer doing it in the morning, so till noon it’s super busy! Few times we were going back and it was dark but it’s ok. The trail is safe even at night. Just take a flashlight with you 👌

@@picturetheworld thanks for your answer! I love dat jungle mood 🤩 I plan to buy a sony A7sIII soon but unfortunately I will not have it for this trip so I will do my best with a old gh4+speedbooster+50mm 1.8 canon And a gopro (it would be better with a sigma 18-35 but don’t have it)

Hey there. No, we have our own headlamps as we hike a lot 😊 but I’m pretty sure you can ask your hotel to help you getting those 😉

Thank you for your kind comment 😊🥰 here is some useful information for the hike: Distance: The total distance of the hike is 12 km Duration: The hike will take you about four hours, especially if you have a nice lunch break at the main waterfall, which is at the halfway point of the trail before you turn back. Difficulty: The beauty of this trail, and one of the reasons why it is so popular, is that it has almost no incline. Over the course of 12 kilometers, there are only around 100 meters of incline. So it’s basically flat, which makes it comfortable for most hikers 😌 There are a few tunnels where you will need a headlamp or phone light, so take it into the consideration 🔦
