The last notch I did I decided we needed a bit more space in the notch so I added some radius the notch so it no longer looked like it was closing in and it looked so much better. proper equipment make's the end results sweet .. You make it look so easy but we both know it took many year's of doing before we reached the level were at today, that and the countless mig ball burns in our clothes and between our fingers that we owe our skills to. I have a 96 Isuzu Hombre that I put air ride (airbags) on and body dropped 3 1/2" and I had not so great help with. The bed was rushed and we ended up just raising the factory bed floor to the tops of the bed rails with spacer. Mainly just the bed ended up being a hack job, this was 3 years ago. On top of that, one bed side got backed into twice in the same spot near the driver tailight with a softball sized dent. Thinking of just starting over with a new bed.

I had a shop totally hack my 2 link kit. in addition to that, they shorted my step notch and my truck wont lay rocker. its 3" off the ground still.. what is the best way to Re-do the notch?

Nice welds mate I'll have to keep practicing I'm only 17 so I have a few years ahead on me haha because mine look nothing like that haha lucky I'm only doing body work on 2 of my 4 cars

HI Jeff here in Southern California Inland Empire Area Berdoo Area I have a 1964 Chevy c10 Short Bed Fleet side I bought the Rear 12 bolt Chevy REAR Disc Brake Kit I have them now correctly Installed I had The Calipers on forward and I was supposed to have The Calipers Facing the Rear now I cant Figure out how the EBRAKE Cables are set up My truck has the sideways handle in the cab under the Column and goes along side the Drivers Side Frame Rail Then Stops Right close to the Now OEM Relocated Trans Cross member where my 700 r4 trans and mount now sit. Its up on the Lift So I can do A Video of the Before if you help me get to the After. ITS NOT THE TOP HAT STYLE WITH THE LITTLEBRAKE SHOES INSIDE MINE IS A CABLE THRU SPRING AFFAIR THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU ONLY PULL A LITTLE AND IT SQUEEZES THE ROTOR TO A STOP WITH AN ADJUSTMENT NUT ON THE SIDE OF THE CALIPER. That's about it or if someone knows of a shop in the Inland Empire that does these old trucks how bout a name or number or both THANKS ALOT

Hey Brainy guy when you have a 70% totaled Lexus up on the laserliner yes hang your 60 K worth of gauges because body lines door openings etc, etc, proper wheel alignment {tire wear} are vital but when your putting a simple fucking notch in a 53 chevy pic-up you really think your 60K toys are gonna be much help .It's NOT an F1 220 MPH race car . But hey go ahead if Overly complicating everything is your bag have at it ...It's NOT brain surgery it's a notch !!!!!
