Just had my 2nd a few days ago, I'm amazed by how alert and active you are! I felt dead for a week after my first birth, and could barely walk after both. I was more prepared this time and brought plenty or comfy pajamas and a robe for birthing. Also for anyone about to have their first, bring your own shampoo/conditioner and heygeine products, you will be so happy that you did after the first shower. You'll feel like a new person. I also brought a giant jug of prune juice to start drinking right after birth- highly recommend

no, not dumb at all! I had no idea either! so they come in every couple hours, and they push down on your stomach and see how much blood comes out of you 🥴 i won't lie it's not the greatest feeling lol. your body produces colostrum the first couple days after birth. It's really high in fat. Then about 2-5 days after birth all your actual milk comes in.. and it's a lot lol.
