If this young girl was SA by this guy for the past 4 years her Mom should have noticed changes in her daughter and care enough to find out what was happening to her. If they don't find (like in the Gabby Petito case with Brian Laundri similar rumors proved false) any pregnancy I wouldn't be saying that before their report to the public from the medical examiners crime scene disclosure of autopsy results. They also release children autopsy results public in California for sure. I don't know about Florida.

The deep circles around her eyes are because she could not sleep out of fear he would come into her room. She told her grandmother that she did not like sleeping alone (big clue). She was probably not eating right as she seemed pale. When someone is seriously depressed, they overeat on sugary foods or eat very little. She went through much manipulation, control, fear, and intimidation by Stephan Sterns. She also went through neglect and indifference by her mother. The pain of not having her mother's support was also devasting for her. RIP, Madeline; we are supporting you now...Your case will help many other children going through the same situation. @@Samantha-w8lI don’t know about statistics but I saw it first hand. My mom was SA and had my brother by herself then met my dad and got married. My dad was psychologically and physically absive towards my brother. I didn’t know he wasn’t his son until I was like 17 so I never understood why was he so mean. My mom looked the other way because she didn’t know better and she was very scared of him, I’m not trying to justify her but she grew up in a very very sad environment where she was emotionally and physically abused from a very young age too. I confronted her a few years ago about it (not that I had the right to) and she says the fear would paralyze her every time my dad was enraged and made her wanna hide instead of stick up for us. It’s kinda sad, she has apologized numerous times but the scars this left on my brother will haunt my parents forever. He left home when he was 15 and I was 5, I know it hurt him to leave us behind but he had to save himself. I have kids now and I’m feral, all sharp teeth and claws to defend and protect them.

A good way to honor her and stop this from being other people’s experiences is to toughen laws on childhood abuse, make people more aware and have more funding to help children recovering from abuse. Many people live with these scars of being preyed upon as children. She suffered so much and also lost her her life. As a former Orlando resident I am deeply shocked about these heinous crime(s). It was clear from the beginning that Stephan was involved in this, look at him in the mother's interview to Fox35. But why does mom contradict to herself all the time. First she said both of them dropped her off at school then later she stated it was only him. It sickens me to learn from another channel tonight that Maddie shared a room with her mom and the boyfriend. Did they not think a 12/13 yo would need her own space? Jennifer is clearly someone that can be easily manipulated, has very low self-confidence, and possibly let him abuse her daughter or took part in the abuse alongside him. I hope Maddie gets the justice she deserves.
