Please, keep with the videos Mark! They are very helpful for sure! And, for exemple, in the sentence “it barks at her”, why “at”?? Why I cannot use “to” her??
@MadEnglishTV
@MadEnglishTV 7 жыл бұрын
Because....English doesn't make sense. 😂 We use "at" when there is no mutual communication. For example, "He yelled at her". He is not actually trying to talk to her. He's just angry and wants to disrespect her.

How about “She bring the turtle, seems that it is friendly to them, but it doesn’t like us.”?
@MadEnglishTV
@MadEnglishTV 7 жыл бұрын
Nice sentence! Actually, the sentence is a run on sentence (a mistake). There can't be a comma between "turtle" and "seems". There needs to be some other punctuation mark. You could write it this way: She brought a turtle. It seemed to be friendly to them, but it didn't like us! These lessons talk more about punctuation. 😃 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGTVfpuGltlpncU kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYaWaKesbJtpqcU
