Hey Cheryl, same invalid traffic bug here. 1000s of us are affected. Hopefully, it gets resolved soon. I'm one of the creators who's been dealing with this on/off since Nov 22, 2022. So brutal, and yes, truly devastating. Basically just a waiting game. You're not alone! Congrats on 10K!

I'm incredibly sorry that you are dealing with this, too. I've lost 80-85% of my revenue for a little over a month now. For me, the worst part was "Creator Support" talking to me like I had done something wrong. I've never done any of the things mentioned. I'm absolutely sure that the VAST majority of people being punished by this haven't done anything wrong, either. Don't give up. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

I'm a Senegalese KZbinr ! I'm working on KZbin since two years now ! I stopped all other activities to work exclusively on KZbin !!! And it Works ! But the first time I got this notification was in February 2023. It's hard for me, even if I'm making contents people love to watch and interact with, it's hard for me to make 200 dollars a month ! But KZbin said there were invalid traffic, and then I lost my revenues and earn very few amounts the next 6 months ! Everything seemed to be ok on August, but yesterday I received the same notification ! An other tour for 4 other months with no earnings I guess. I'm getting tire ! I spend so much time making videos ! It was hard even to pay my internet bills at the beginning, but it's like KZbin doesn't want me to earn money on this plateform ! I don't know what to do now ! I'm loosing my motivation !

Congrats for 10k's, you are not alone with this bug, there are a lot having this issue, unfortunately i've seen content creators having this bug for almost one year, but hopefully it will be resolved, fingers crossed

Like everyone else here, I'll ay the same thing. Ride it out, do what ever you have to so that you can survive financially in the meantime, but dont give up. KZbin has GOT to fix this soon and its really not so surprising they are very quiet about all of this while channels seem to implode. It will be interesting to see if we get an explanation as to whats been going on and whats the cause of all of this. 🙃

The worst is yet to come! After ads come and go a few times your AdSense will be suspended because of repeated invalid activity and you will never get it back! This happened to my channel and it is dead now! I put all my videos in private and gave up on KZbin!

Hi Cheryl, fyi your video was recommended by KZbin from another video about the invalid traffic issue. Its happening to many mid size creators. My hunch its an ai algorithm bug. Another hunch it could be picking up invalid or bot traffic via Shorts. Shorts are great for traffic and new subs, but its possible some devious creators are running bots to make their shorts look viral. Or just for other nefarious reasons or just punks pranking. Good luck.... take a deep breath and hang in there. YT about to get a lot of backlash.

Probably, although from what I gather, having a bunch of links to other sites seems to increase the likelihood. The whole business of making creators responsible for the traffic without having any basis for believing that the creator did anything is rather ballsy. Especially given the lengths that KZbin has previously gone to in order to fix the algorithm for connected corporations and running ads on videos where the creator gets nothing.

So sorry to realize the grief being visited on you and so many other KZbin Channel operators. All I can come up with is that YT may now be considering out-going links in a video’s description as “invalid traffic” (that takes the viewer away from KZbin)? If that’s the case, any video that includes out-going HTML links might get flagged as containing “invalid traffic” and be “demonetized”?

Sorry to hear you have this issue....here are a few reasons why.... The main problem with youtube is there now using Ai to scan traffic. The problem with this is, anyone using a vpn or connects thru a cloud server will show as invalid traffic. The reason for this is that when you use these services, you do not get registered on a network as an END USER. Rather your vpn provider gives you access to a pool of ip address. These will never show as an end terminal, so advert companys have no way to trace where there real listners/viewers real ip address. This also goes for cloud servers etc....these cloud servers also have no end terminal ip address, They use a pool also. Untill they train Ai to stop scanning vpns and cloud servers this problem wont go away. For now i would recomend to you to tell your viewers not to use a vpn or cloud server when watching your videos.

I doubt they will, which is BS because we shouldn't have to drop out VPN in order to watch these videos, it's not like the VPNs block the ads, at least not the one that I'm using.

its odd your video even showed up in my feed but I did want to let you know, I watch the whole video and there was no ads. dont know what that means but thought it was odd. maybe that has to do with your lack of revenue.

Remove any links that you have in your description. Affiliate or anything that takes viewers off of KZbin.

Good news: youtube is recommending this video to people like me (who have no other reason to watch your videos) because of our shared interest in the invalid traffic bug. Bad news: youtube is probably not going to count this view as real because of the bug... It really makes you wonder if the geniuses at youtube ever considered that people who sell traffic by creating bots attempt to legitimize their bots by having them randomly consume unrelated content so it isn't obvious that thousands of bots all watched one video and nothing else...
