I watched Zack throw 20 strikeouts for the Royals against the Indians in 2009, dude is definitely one of the most talented pitchers of all time and definitely a Hall of Famer. His mind for the game is also unlike any other player I've seen, in a way he's kind of like the Bill Belicheck(sp.) of baseball. And as someone who's biggest enemy is myself the majority of the time due to the myriad of mental health issues I deal with, being able to see Zack still put in work after almost 20 years while dealing with similar issues, makes him one of my biggest heroes in all of sports. Thanks for just being you, Zack! Go, Royals! 💙

As someone on the autism spectrum, I definitely get the feeling Greinke is as well. I'm guilty of a lot of the seemingly off-putting behavior as well, but it can just boil down to stress and fear of human interaction, or performing well in front of a crowd, etc.. that can lead to social anxiety and self doubt. Every time I hear Greinke speak, I'm further convinced he has ASD.

I think dude just wanted to play shortstop before he was dyagnosed with depression and social anxiety. But after that he probably just changed his mind and thought that it was something big to be a pitcher in the major leagues. In my eyes, he was just a lazy genius of an athlete, approaching votto like that and the fact that he didn't need to practice a lot of times the 2-seamer after not using it for years just shows what a talent he had, and how "lazy" he was
