Haha, I love that you cradled Krang for the entire video. I actually really like the Playmates Turtles, but right there with you on being disappointed that there hasn't been another wave at least announced. I get the complaints about them, but I really dug them. Might've helped that I swapped in the classic brown weapons though.

There is a "plan" for the Remastered Turtles line, but Playmates is terrible at sharing that information with the public... At SDCC they showed renders of Shredder and Rocksteady, but they don't exactly look great...

That Mezco Popeye figure is so damn good man. I definitely feel that pain of wanting Bluto but can't justify that price....... It's been my Great White Buffalo

I got him just last week. Love this figure, honestly amazed how well he works in the Mezco design, considering Popeye has such, well, cartoony proportions. Lucky for me I don't care much about Bluto. Don't get me wrong, if they re-release him I will get in on it, I just don't feel any pressure to pick up the one from the 2 pack.

I regretted getting the Haslab Dragonfly, not because it wasn't good or worth it, but rather I spent a lot on something that I just didn't have room to display. I regret not getting the whole set of the retro DnD carded characters that NECA did and not just settle for the War Duke.

Almost pulled trigger on Tony Delorean. The thing that stopped me, no flying conversion. So I convinced myself they’ll do another. Probably not this group. I mean they made a freaking heavy ass car. It would take a substantial flying stand to display in flying mode. So maybe one day a 1:10-1:12 flying Delorean will become a reality…but seeing it with the NECA figs does create some envy and regret. It’s awesome and may be the only shot at this scale toy/collectible.

With Gargoyle I bought Goliath and the dog. I'm glad I stopped there. I was willing to support but the wing issue was messy from the start. Packaging the relaxed wings with the dog was a smart patch but there was no way that was a solution. When they released Demona and her wings had no support and didn't have the second wings, that was the final nail.

I regret not getting into the Jada Street Fighter line, I regret not getting Mafex's Magneto, Gambit, Storm, and Nightwing's figures, and not getting into Loose Collector.... those come to mind. I regret getting so many McFarlane DC Universe figures that later I sold for cheap, because they disappointed me so much.

McFarlane DC is always a mix of regret after buying. I've only gotten a few that I had hoped Mattel would make long ago in the DC Universe Classics, but the articulation is done so poorly on them that you can't get organic looking poses. The legs don't have the right articulation to compensate for the mass of the figure in anything but a standing straight up pose, and the tiny peg on the included stand is useless. When the line launched the sculpts looked terrible so it was easy to avoid, but in the last year they've looked so good it's been hard to resist.

Of all the stuff I got this year (which wasn’t exactly a ton), the only thing that was a real disappointment is the Storm Collectibles Mai Shiranui. The tolerances suck (hands fall off too easy…accessories don’t tab in/attach well…paint on her neck and chest cracks if you flex it too much…etc.). Way too many issues for a $100 figure. I’ll never buy another Storm product again.

Great list, Hatter! I regretted missing the Mezco Decapod Gang 2-pack (busy week and missed the IG posts about it going up). Luckily I was able to find it at a toy show for like $50 more than I would have paid Mezco directly, so I kinda lucked out! Guess I should learn a lesson or something...

Blue spawn has been out for 3 months at least. Walmart exclusive I think. I had the major fomo on that TMNT set. Your feelings lessened that I saw that Broadway the other day and almost went back because I’m pretty sure that line odd dead and I want another set of those wings. 😅 Ace has better make a set for the ones missing lol

don't think you have to feel too much regret about the Tomy Delorean - all the reviews so far consistently demonstrate that it's too small in scale for what was advertised. You can't squeeze the NECA Doc in there without potentially damaging the door, and while the lights are pretty, the most impressive ones are all hidden inside unless you keep the gullwing doors up all the time. No hover wheel or flight stand tiers, just too many little compromises here and there that keep it from being a GOAT. My humble opinion.

I admit that I don't fully understand the regret of buying a variant of a dead line... If you like the figure, why does it matter? I got into the NECA Universal Monster figures. Do I wish they'd make more than the Magnificent Seven monsters? Yes. Do I regret having bought the ones I have? No. Likewise, do I wish Hasbro would keep up the core class Transformers? Yes. Do I regret buying the ones I have? No. Why would I? I was buying them because I liked them, not because I was "supporting the line" or whatever excuse people make for buying things they never actually wanted.

I had my doubts and I should of trusted my gut.😤 Otherwise I have not let corporations or stores selling out of pre-orders or exclusives bother me anymore. Regrets? For me, the winner is hands down the Buzzmod Hitori "Bocchi" Goto. It was the only option for Bocchi the Rock action figures, but maaaaan is it overpriced, and they didn't even execute it that well. Her legs are so limited despite her having a cloth goods skirt, and who even knows if Buzzmod are gonna finish the whole band, and at what price. The second Bandai announced their Bocchi the Rock model kits, I felt the pain in my wallet. Though those things sold out like instantly and have their prices massively jacked up here in Australia. Companies knopw they can overcharge for Bocchi merch.
