Let me be the first one to say this on the completely biased comments section: She is an amazing journalist, very few journalists in India are as good. She has unfortunately found herself in very sticky situations, however, that is not something which is uncommon! Currently, there is an anti-journalist atmosphere in the country, without realizing that journalism is the backbone of free-speech and Barkha is leading the charge on that. This whole idea that Modi had called Barkha is too hard to believe, given that Modi has a lied a million times this year alone. So, for all the haters: There is no hidden agenda in any of the reportage in my opinion. Yes, they are anti-BJP, but there are a million other channels, like India TV which are anti-AAP and pro-BJP. This is the journalists' fundamental right to support an idea. In case of Barkha, she supports the idea of secularism and plurality than Modi-sycophancy and I like her for it! I wrote this comment before Madhu made the point at 35:01! This is exactly what the people who have been commenting against Barkha need to realize!

Prasanna S first of all, mumbai live telecast was not just being done by Barkha, i think it was collective media falut coz everyone went live. Though Barkha is the only onebtht has openly regretted it.I have followed Radia case closely and frankly speaking I don't understand the fuss( may be I missed something) Coz a) She didn't benefit money wise or power wise. Her report didn't favour the ones radia wanted etc So b) She was just playing Radia, coz Radia was the one who would get her important information, That is, the scoops that every good journalist gets by such sources. I heard the tape and I was like OK she knows how to do her job! Then after listening to a private question people started to make it look like she was lying under oath or something Just to be clear, I am not her fan, neither I think she is a saint ( I mean,who is? ) But I know that she is a damn good journalist, which is something as all the good journos are from print media.

I first did not want to click on the youtube link because I cannot bear the hypocritical face of Barkha who exaggerates everything but I did, my bad. When you have done a mistake, i.e., reporting 26/11 like a moron, at least man up to agree your mistake. You gave away details such as guests trying to escape, when our soldiers were giving up their life to save them. You did that with pathankot as well and see what happened. Just shut up Barkha, I used to admire you but you are so defensive when it comes to agreeing your mistakes and you hype everything, I started disliking you. Now I don't watch NDTV because its painful to see you report. Get lost.
