It has two Jyotirlingas, one 64 yogini temple, ancient Khajuraho. healthier food culture than most parts of India. Similarly, 'Uttar' means North and Uttar Pradesh, which is just to the north of MP, translates to Northern Province. P.S. Tajmahal is in Uttar Pradesh state.

Here is a bit of trivia: You must be very familiar with Jungle Book is based on a book with the same title written by Rudyard Kipling who was born in India and grew up amidst the jungles of what is now Madhya Pradesh. All the characters in the book and in the film still retain their original Indian names - Bhaloo is the Indian word for Bear and Sher (Khan) means Tiger. National Geographic once made a coffee table book showing the life of a tribal from MP - an inspiration for the character Mowgli.

The architecture part that you mentioned, exists almost all over India and not only near Rajasthan. Most of those are temples and forts which has carved sculptures of stories and history, related to the kingdom or mythology of that particular region. Most of them are constructed many many years ago and they are so delight to watch and to know about the history of those regions through the stories carved in those sculpted walls is an experience itself.

Yes Madhya Pradesh is the centre of India..The waterfall u r saying looks like Niagra is 'Dhuaandaar' in Jabalpur. Bheraghat and Dhuaandar are the amazing places..Pachmarhi is another great place..Bheem Bhetika, Bhojpur, Ujjain, and more places to visit in India..and Madhya Pradesh definitely feels to be the safest in terms of Natural Calamities..

That waterfall is called "Bhedaghat". It's my home town. You have to see it. The video didn't cover Caves of Bheem betka. They have prehistoric cave paintings there. There's a huge region where people have found dinosaur eggs next to the roads even. We have a unique pre-human ancestor whose skeleton is found in MP called the Narmada man. (Narmada is the name of the river which had the waterfall.)

That was a fantastic video! Well done. And by the way Pradesh means region or province. Madhya is Central. Uttar is North. This also is one of the most forested and archeologically diverse region of India as it borders many large provinces.

A spiritual place is Varanasi! It has great historical and spiritual significance. I do not know if we have a video on Varanasi but it would be worth a view. I have seen a lot of foreign tourists that have travelled there and were mesmerized! Thanks again for the video!

Corbin & Rick: Madhya Pradesh is also home to Jai Vilas Palace - a 19th century royal palace of one of the numerous ex-royal families of India - with STUNNING European architecture and outstanding grandeur. It was designed by Sir Michael Filose and boasts of the very best in design and architecture of Europe of that era - spread across a whopping 1.2 million square feet with 400 rooms. It is currently owned by Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia (a politician) - the descendant of the Scindia dynasty. It's current estimated value is somewhere around *$1.4 Billion USD* (more precisely: $1,316,872,430 USD).
