I just want you to know that this video actually made me cry (in a good way haha). I’m in my first semester of nursing school and I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed and hopeless - especially because I’m struggling on tests that most my classmates are getting A’s on. I know it sounds silly but hearing you hype yourself up for getting an 89% in pharm was so inspiring to me. I feel like even when I am doing well, I can never ever stop kicking myself. The other week I got a 92% on a test, which is phenomenal for me, but just because the class average was a 94%, I couldn’t enjoy it at all and just ended up thinking about how Im still behind my peers. I wish they would stop pushing the competitive atmosphere. There’s absolutely no reason to publish the exact number of people who got A’s, B’s and C’s or below. It’s so refreshing to see someone be proud of themselves for their own achievements and not worry about how they’re doing in comparison to anyone else. I wish I could say I’m like that haha, but truthfully it’s something I really struggle with and it’s affecting my mental health at this point. I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you for posting this. It really spoke to me and a lot of these tips were also super helpful!!

Hello! I know that you posted this a while ago. But I just started my second semester of nursing school. I was able to use your method about half way through the first semester and truly loved it. I found myself spiraling on how I want to study this semester. I just told myself to keep doing what I did last semester and I don't know why but I wasn't listening to myself. Anyway, when I decided to rewatch this video my nerves completely faded and just reminded me how helpful this method is. Thank you so much for sharing this video and all your lovely advice!! You are by far one of my favorite youtubers and I just love watching your journey. Thank you!!

Thank you so much for the study tips I've been feeling really discouraged I just failed my med surge 1 class by half of a point and was debating if nursing was for me. I was letting my fail determine what kind of person I was like I wasn't smart enough I can't do this. I recently decided to retake the class and was looking around for study tips to help me this time around. I found your video and it gave me so much determination to accomplish this semester!!

Hey Madi!! I love watching your videos and I'm actually a high school student but I love watching how you study and the notes you take and things like that because I'm trying to get better with note taking and studying and things related to learning. My question for you is how you do you get yourself to sit down and focus on studying or taking notes especially on things you don't really like? it it really hard for me just to sit down and really focus on what I need to learn. I also procrastinate a lot and will do a project 2 hours before it is do and I really need to stop letting myself get distracted but I'm just not sure how and I was hoping you could help me!!
