Both my brother and I picked up one of those portable tv on sale at sams club a few months back and we are both glad we did. In addition to using the HDMI ports for games/other things you can also add media (Audio/Pics/ Video) on a 32 GB USB or smaller and play them thru the USB port on the back of the tv (not the top). I have it im my bedroom and have both my mini NES & SNES systems. The top USB port i used to power the mini systems. It's a great TV.

Back in the 90's I had a 12 or 13" portable color TV that wasn't much more than a screen and a small speaker with a bezel. That, and a DC/AC converter for my shitbox car was my portable setup..... and I loved it :)

I have a Nissan Armada that came with the DVD and navigation option and as soon as I saw the aux input on the DVD player, I immediately hooked up the NES to it with a 500 game multicart and anytime I have to sit somewhere for more than 10 minutes, I immediately grab a controller and start playing. And whoever's kids are in the truck, have never been quieter on long drives

The NES is good because you can throw AC or DC at it because it has the built-in bridge rectifier, so you probably wouldn't need that special center negative cable. Reasons why you can use a genesis model 1 wall adapter with it and not have to worry about the voltage regulator going out.

Ironically I’m watching this on the Monster Vision I got at Sam’s Club a couple of days ago! I had been wanting one for a couple of years but I thought they quit making them. I saw it on sale and *immediately* got one. I have my Fire Stick connected to it right now but I was playing my Switch on it yesterday (once I found a combination of a USB-C cable and power adaptor the third party mini-dock I have for it liked). I plan to play my SNES Mini on it next and I bet it can run off the USB port in the back compartment. The FM radio and Bluetooth capability are really nice too. Unfortunately where I live (Saint Cloud MN) there aren’t any over the air local TV stations; the closest ones are 70 miles away down in the Twin Cities which puts them well out of range of the little antenna the Monster Vision comes with.

I already have a Bluetooth speaker and a battery bank. Next all I need is to pick out a nice portable monitor from Ali express. Something brighter, higher resolution, and better refresh rate. I Just got mine, I'm testing it out. I wanna see how long a full charge will give me playing audio and video. I'm a little over 2 hours and it's at 50 percent, so I don't think it's gonna get the 8 hours it estimates with video playback. Besides that, it's awesome. I just really hope it gives me at least a good 5 hours on a full charge.

I don't think this one is a good buy. If I was camping or living out of my car, space would be at a premium, and I wouldn't be hauling around old consoles and dozens of cartridges. If Im at home, I'm using a real TV. If Im on a plane, I'm using a laptop or handheld. This is neat, but I can't find a way to make it practical.
