I'm jealous. I still don't have my Unicorn Overlord collector's edition that I preordered from gamestop way back in december or january. They didn't even process my order until release day lol.

Unicorn Overlord is my GOTY so far. The demo is one of the best demos I’ve ever seen. As for the collector’s edition, I also love it. Mainly because it includes items you can actually use, such as the card game. Display pieces in collector’s editions are usually always overpriced.

Fabulous game. Playing it at the moment. This is a lot like starrcaft x dragon force. Wit a little bit of langrisser thrown in.

I’ve only played an hour of the game and so far it’s been enough to keep me interested and keep on going. The voice actors are good although they have some very unnatural English dialogue. Definitely could have been better translations (granted i can’t compare to the original Japanese, but I’m sure it should not have been this awkward). So far the game has done a good job of teaching me the mechanics although I still feel a bit overwhelmed with everything to learn. The story isn’t all that engaging unfortunately, but could get better as the game goes on. But the visuals are spectacular, although the fighting animation gets a bit boring after having seen it a dozen or so times. I’m still on the demo, but so far with what I’ve seen I’ll probably get the whole game.

Was having a hard time figuring out wich version to get, the PS5 or Switch. In the end, ended ordering the Switch version after trying out the demo on both systems and changing between the two at the same time in the tv. Aside from being a bit bighter on PS5, I couldn't see any big difference in terms of graphics. TV, Table Top, and Portable Mode and a cart without needing installation seems like the better deal here. 😁

That's pretty much what the game is all about. But it eases you into how the game works so it's not overwhelming. I'd say at least give the demo a try

Overall, I am enjoying the game. I felt that it wasn't too difficult until I got to a major boss. Now, I gotta revisit the tutorials to develop a strategy for my units 🤣 Ya, I don't know about the mistranslation, but it's modern Sega/Atlus, so unfortunately, it is what it is
