@@DjTemplar84 actually Ron tries a multi cart with Super Mario All Stars and it is working, but not sure if it works with legit smu carts, anyway if any compatibility issues you can always use an everdrive, multicart or repro and it will probably work fine. Also in this video Ron has the Pilotwings (MSU) and he does not show it but probably tried... if it did not work he could have pointed that out.

I have one of these! The best SNES clone you can buy! There are special adapters for this particular SNES console clone (Retroad SNES). A GBC, Mega Drive, and an NES adapter! You can actually play GB and GBC carts on the big screen with that adapter thru the console's HDMI without any extra cables, just the adapter itself! Nice review, because this Retroad console didn't actually have a proper KZbin video review. There is also a 7 inch handheld version of this console as well.

Turtles in time blew me away as a kid. Also zombies are my neighbors may be my favorite game of all time next to snow bros, probably because my brother was only two years older than me and getting to kick butt with him was awesome as he was much better at video games than I was. Great memories. Until one day I was watching him play final fantasy on NES and I was in the floor under the tv and he asked me to turn the volume up and the the giant 32” Sony crt fell on my head. It was early nineties so that was a huge tv. I still have a dent in my forehead to this day because it landed on top of my head and slammed me into the hardwood floor. Great Nintendo memories😂

I slept all day after that😁🤷🏼‍♂️. My brother is still kind of freaked out about the whole thing all these years later. Me too, mainly because it was almost like someone just lifted it up off of me. Oddly enough that tv went on to work for several more years. They don’t make things like they used to😂

Any market for any product is going to have people asking way too much, doesn’t mean there’s not still plenty of them around for $50-60. With a little patience collecting for the snes is still surprisingly affordable. Factor in inflation and it stings much, much less. Happy hunting yalls.

Yes the hamy 8 bit hd with hdmi, the looks cheap but it have pretty good picture and this nes clone with the round power plug works with the everdrive n8, the most nes clone dont work with the everdrive n8

All I can say is wow. I admit I don't trust anyone that marks a SNES clone as surprising! 2nd a single aftermarket cartridge of 8 bit games, as playable, and surprisingly good? So for the price, I sprung for it, with total regret in my head. Update!!! This thing is everything madlittlepixel said, and so much more. Couple misspelled game titles, but the sound, and graphics were extremely good, minus a few that were ehhh? My SNES game I tried on it had never played this well on any cline console. But it played flawlessly on this. I'm a believer!!

I went to my OEM controller, and it fit, and played perfect. Still using it, and bought a few classic Dragon Quest, and FF games with zero issues, except one reply about the Mario Paint mouse, but all things said, I'm ecstatic that madlittlepixel found this gem. I bought 3 consoles because who knows how long we'll be available, and if any future clones, will be as good. 1 for China, I guess 🤔

This clone console has been out for years. It uses the same chipset as the other clone consoles such as retro-bit, hyperkin, pound, etc. And this chipset has some issues on some games. For example, in contra 3, level 2 and 5 (the overhead levels) have wrong color pallette. In super ghouls n ghosts, in stage 3 boss fight and stage 4, the background is pitch black and it makes the game unplayable. There are other games that run into issues but these two are some of my favorite snes games and I still play them today. I had a few clone consoles (including the one in this video), and they all have the exact same issues.

This is a good option now that Analogue console is stopping production, over a year using it and I am very happy, but found out mouse with Super Mario Paint is not working for me... maybe I'm doing something wrong, 99% of the games used are working fine, but found glitches on the Japanese Supper Soccer 94 (World Cup edition) while in the formation menu choosing the players to substitute... and Demon's crest won't let me pass the first mini boss Arma (not the dragon), also Super Famicom's Yoshi's island was stopping to play after 5-10 minutes and no idea why... but overall... great! I can make those play through everdrive anyway

I've had one of these for 4year now and still going strong, the controller button's getting bit tied now. I sold my Snes as didn't need it anymore and video hook-up was pain with new TV. Recommend it's good stuff 👍👍😊

I have this and the cartridge adapters, but the downside is that the audio output is only in dual mono through both HDMI and AV. Not really worth it when it costs around the same as the Retron 3 HD which has stereo and more system support.

Bought mine, came with the box crunched up but the system was fine. It plays everything I throw at it so far except pilot wings. Feels cheap but does the job. Sounds seems to be mono.

F@ck damnit ,it makes me wish this was the official snes because of it’s darn crisp hdmi output and it’s backwards compatibility with nes games, it was a big mistake from nintendo to not make it compatible with nes games because back then many pattents refused to buy a snes for their kids because of this reason, now just now just imagine if this snes clone was released back then, it certainly would,ve badly impacted the sales of the sales because of it’s nes compatibility feature,o,o,o,o.

Its nes roms converted to snes. I use to convert nes roms to gba roms. Then they can be loaded onto a cartridge. Love the video by the way.

SD2SNES handles only SNES rooms and there is one unofficial version of FW with game boy support.

ok so my question is does it run at the same rates as the original? theres a level in mega man x (armored armadillo) that has a mine cart ride that runs at a very specific rate, and lags in a specific way towards the end with a lot of on screen objects. do you have the ability to test if it still has the lag in that level that im used to? if it does, im sold, and ill be grabbing it and the 30th anniversary of mega man x lol.
