What’s your favorite style games like mad mind studios, but better?

@@RileyWHZ Fighting games used to be my favorite but they've just strayed so far away from what I used to love that all I get from them is misery. General action games tend to be my go to these days. Be it character action, hack and slash, or even fast paced FPS. But what I look for most is just a good experience. Anybody can make a boomer shooter that plays good. But it takes a hell of a lot to make one that is good beyond just the shooting. So it ends up being less about a genre unless it's something like turn based RPG's (I didn't spend 2 grand on a PC to wait my turn), and more about catching my eye and promising me something that will be enjoyable regardless of the genre.

Releasing a bunch of trailers for different games was a mistake. If they should focus on one game at time and instead of trailers, show pitches. Let the comunity feedback decide which pitches are interesting and which ones should be burried with ET for Atari.

Mad mind studios, I want to love the games because of the crazy style but the gameplay…not good. And I am hyped for tormentor but it’s not going to happen I bet

I have to disagree with your assessment of Madmind's future prospects. Past evidence suggests that all they have to do is keep their heads down while the initial controversy blows over, release some minimum effort project a couple of years from now and enjoy the deluge of "Madmind is back!" and "Redemption arc?!" content from bandwagoners with no scruples and no taste.

Maybe. Quite even possibly. They're mostly a non-entity anyway. Not much of a social media presence or the like. I don't know what their discord is like and I don't really feel like finding out. But it's going to take a long time laying low and they've got multiple projects in the work. Their name is pretty much mud on steam so it's going to take a ravenous little cult following to keep them in business long enough to survive laying low.
