BTW the stairs orientate differently in his older version so where they dont fit well i recommend using full blocks with the stone bricks but in the decorative holes i recommend stone brick walls.

I really love your tutorials. I did your medieval blacksmith a while back and a friend of mine brought up your name when I said I wanted to build a castle so I thought I'd give this one a go too because I really loved the blacksmith one. So far it's been good, so we'll see what happens :)

This castle is so amazing, I am currently working on making it in a survival LOTR server. It is so amazingly annoying to build in survival but it really gives you a sense of accomplishment

Great tutorial dude! Was easy to follow, some bits a re a little triky but stopping and starting the video was easy enough lol Also you can now build this on Xbox 360 edition of mineraft because of the upside down stairs! :D

Hey I got a question, how do you deal with terrain? I mean do you fly over trying to find an optimal area to build, edit the land to better suit your needs, or some combination of the two? Also what about the insides of buildings do you build with a functional inside in mind, or do you just build the outside then work on the inside?

At the start of the video (I'm building this on xbox360 version), where you start with the 5 blocks. Is that at the back or the front? Just so I know which direction to point my castle toward.

Okay I built every thing in this midevil series and subscribed (all built on xbox) and I don't get this no offense but is this the wall around the castle like in the world you showed how to build the house 1 ( sorry if confusing anyone) but yeah no offense to anything at all I just confused and I am gonna build this anyways but what can I replace the sideways logs with? and thank you for the awesome vidz

Hey Madnes! Im a builder and I love your videos. I've just watched one of you Q&A's and you talked about using the defualt texturepack becuase it's pixelated and not realistic. I feet the same way and not too long ago I found that suits me well. Its called the MiniDoku texturepack. You should check it out. It fits Kargeth extremely well.

in my remake i've randomised the foundation by sometimes placing cobblestone stairs without the additional block below it, to make it look more randomized, you should try it and see if you like it

'Sup Me is here with a question. in 1.5, How am I supposed to build the outer 3x3 wall design when the stairs form together? I traied using Stone stairs and Stone Brick stairs, but they still joined together. I don't know what I should do?! (surprised)

@ethan poirier like madnes said, do not flatten out the landscape, try to USE the landscape. Which actually looks ALOT more impressive and better than a flat area. Although since u already started in a superflat then just build ur walls 2 blocks above the ground and then build the cobble foundation

hey i have a tiny thing foru ... can u build a castle dat doesnt have blocks like at 3.10, that their all upside, then at 11.03, and at those towers, where u have stairs putted one right way and other downside up, it's not working on todays minecraft :(
