11:52 the spear talisman’s there because the heavies on both weapons a pierce damage. You just don’t do heavy attacks like the guy probably does.

I didn't even think about that... I would've probably just taken the clarifying horn charm and put on some functioning armor instead. Then again, I would've also levelled vigor past 10.

7:32 in case you wanted to know the dmg percents here ya go (1-8% weight, buff 13.5%) (8.5%-15.5% weight, 13.22%-9.65% buff) (16-20% weight, 3.75 dmg buff) dancer charm works on percent not on which load your on its stupid i know but that's just how it works

It's not percent it's literally a total of 15 weight, so since he had more than q 15 equip load he got 0 damage. Also even if he did get a damage boost it only boosts physical damage so his magic build still wouldn't get value from it

Yeah, depending on who the last shardbearer was you killed and or whatever area you were in and reported to him your progress, he will copy the move. If you kill Rykard, Gideon will use Rykard's Rancor. Defeat Malenia, he uses Scarlett Aoenia. He can also use Comet Azur if you do not find it as part of Sellen's questline. Imagine if he pulled us in with Starcaller Cry though or used the Homing Rock Sling ability Radahn does in his fight lmao

for the zweihander build, the thrust heavy attack with royal knights resolve and spear talisman does massive damage. I think that's why he wanted you to use heavy attacks for the most part.

I ran the numbers on the Blue Dancer's Charm and with an equip load of 29.5, it's only giving a 0.1875% boost to physical damage. Definitely switch to Magic Scorpion. I'm guessing the submitter thinks that staying under 30 gives you a 15% boost to all damage, but that's only true if you're at 0 weight. Which is impossible since the talisman has a weight of 0.9.

if they were using claws with that build it would have been viable, but packing two weapons at once just won't work

Also that boost is only to physical damage so even if he did get the full 15% it would only actually boost his damage by like 5 or 7 % since over half his damage us magic

A bit of my observations here: 0:53 - Why not use Erdtree Seal +10 as main with Frenzied Flame Seal offhand? Just asking, as seal related to Frenzied Flame is bad unless you have very high RL. Would also consider Flame, Grant me Strength to boost Fire damage, if enemy/boss is immune to Madness. Overall nice build, but one focused on specific type of damage is not great for me. since if you ran on enemy with medium/high resistance to Fire Damage, you are for a challenge. 4:26 - Erdtree Favor +2 (what for?, boost is negligable), Blue Dancer Charm was discussed numerous times - Magic Scorpion charm and Ritual Sword Talisman would be better (or Dragoncrest Greatshield). 4:44 - Understand FTH for spell boost and DEX for Moonveil, but what for we need such high STR and ARC? Lower FTH to be able to use Howl, lower STR, negate ARC and invest in VIG/MIND/INT. Overall relaxing build, as Moonveil and Darkmoon Greatsword is powerful by design. 9:33 - Not to mentioned holding 2 heavy weapons at the same while using one, in this state Zweihander does not use Roar Talisman and is very limited, when it comes to Spear Talisman. a) For Zweihander, dish out Roar Medalion for Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman and Highland Axe b) With Nightrider's Glaive, honestly change nothing. Not a big fan of Spear Talisman, since it is "powerful situational", but has huge benefits if used correctly. c) In both cases, Dagger with Golden Vow Ash of War might help a bit. As well as crab to boost damage negation. d) Overall, looks nice - posted Roar-type build on my own, but it is pure STR instead of Quality. Also considered other related to Braggart's Roar, but that one will be tank-like instead of "charged attack" using damage negation boost (10%, which is huge).

For the people wondering how Gideon used Scarlet Aeonia, it's because he can use the spells of some important bosses, but only if you've defeated them, for example if you killed Rykard, Gideon can use Rykard's Rancor, if you killed Renalla he can use Comet Azur, etc.

The elite series 2 controllers are great up until the bumpers get soft. It’s such a flawed design. You can fix it by popping the face shell off and usually that will help them out when you put it back on. If not, you have to stick a piece of paper between the bumpers and the button that’s being pressed.
