It's been a minute since ive seen this episode and i really like how this story has some of the best episodes to let the story breathe, after Mami died we got a whole episode to let that sink in, and now after the crushing realization and horror of what a magical girl is physically, we get a whole episode unpacking that and the mental damage to sayaka. I also think its really interesting to see how it's affected Kyouko too, its clearly shaken her and got her to reconsider her relationship with sayaka

14:16 I think she referred to when she saved madoka, which hitomi was involved. The first witch she fought.

If you really think about it, Kyoko and Sayaka are like mirror images of each other. They both are kind of similar personality wise (stubborn and hot headed) and had the same intentions with their wishes (wishing for someone else), but they have such different ideologies about their situations. Sayaka is someone who wants to help others and tries not to give in to her own selfish ambitions while Kyoko is the opposite, believing that it’s better to live for oneself rather than to help others.

I'd say you're pretty smart in watching and analyzing the characters. Not everyone can get these details the first time they watch this.

Same thoughts here about Homura when I first watch the show then later on changed my mind lols. I don't want to spoil but, you'll soon gonna understand her actions. haha
