@@safb90 Live To Tell was edited here. It only showed the numbers counting up until Madonna was lowered back on the stage. You didn't see her singing the beginning of the song at all, only had the numbers on the screen. I was so excited when I finally saw how beautiful and sad it was on the DVD in it's entirety.

This tour was 14 years after Erotica first came out and she likes to tailor her old songs to fit the theme/sound of her most recent album, which was disco-inspired in this case. The tour for the Erotica album was much more sexual. I prefer this performance but the 1993 version is more faithful to the original song's S&M themes.

The Confessions Tour is an iconic masterpiece, only to be outdone by The Blonde Ambition Tour. This “You Thrill Me” version of “Erotica” contains lyrics originally intended to be in the original 1992 release of “Erotica” from the ‘Erotica’ album. I love this version because it makes the message of the song more about the challenging realities of true love. Of course I love the original version too. We only hurt the ones we love. 😈

My memory, September 12, 2006, Moscow. This was right after #MusicInferno, which is one of my all time favorite Madonna performances - you should react to that - and when I realized what song she was doing, tears came down on my cheeks. Well, album version is early trip-hop and this is show-disco; very different genres. I love this track but the original track and especially the maxi single will always be one of the very best singles released ever. I could listen to those 7 mixes on a loop, and sometimes I do, for hours.

This version is one of her most iconic Stage version of all of her performances.. The original demo version is this version. There is also a remix by Ralphie Rosario of the demo version. This is the reason why I suggested this, and also the choreography, staging and lights is one of the most romantic. Also check out Drowned World Tour "What it feels like a Girl", another romantic Choreo piece. This is the softer side of Madonna. The Juxtapositions of song to dance in her tours is something no other artist do. She is the Queen of Pop... She is not all hard. She is just as romantic. You should do the confessions tour version of the song "Music" it's an awesome version. I don't know if y'all know about the movie Saturday Nght Fever which was totally iconic in the 1970s. It's like the quintessential disco movie from the late '70s. Well there's a part of the movie where John Travolta is does a really iconic dance routine and she copies it. Which is very challenging and a cool dance. Of course by now y'all know how great a dancer she is and she does it with great precision. Because the whole tour is Disco themed it all goes well together. I don't know if you two will actually see my comment. I'm hoping so. Just thought I'd put my recommendation out there on this message board. Since y'all seem to really like the confessions tour songs you've reacted to so far. "Music" should definitely be your next one." Let it Will be" is also a great one from the tour. I can really tell you genuinely like her. Just from watching your first couple reactions a few months ago to now. You genuinely seem to get into her music. It's pretty cool for me who's 34 years old and has liked her since I was very young. Erotica had such a long production, there’s almost a novel of lyrics that were omitted due to their explicit nature, in saying that there are 3 lyrically different versions of the song, Erotic from her SEX Book is the most, and confession ‘you thrill me’ version being more radio friendly. Love the comment about she going ballerina. Madonna before being a singer was a dancer, she went to University to study dance and was in one of the most important dance companies in New York.
