Madonna does not call her performances "concerts" she calls them "shows". She likens them to touring stage plays in which they are sectioned into 3 or 4 acts. Each act represents a theme and each theme flows into the next. The Confessions Tour represented different aspects to 70's/80's disco/dance music. The entire show is perfection.

The production quality of Madonna's concerts is of the highest order, and yes she gives you the same concert experience throughout her tours, regardless of the stage or city. The album and concert pay tribute to the disco era but with a distinctive Madonna twist. Indeed, the track "Future Lovers" contains a sampling of Donna Sommer's "I Feel Love" and a segment of the concert will pay tribute to John Travolta's iconic dancing in the disco film "Saturday Night Fever." This video shows just how awesome Madonna's concerts are, not just as an auditory experience, but as a visual one as well. Why the horse theme? Madonna had been recovering from a broken collar bone and ribs after falling off of a horse that year, so she included it in her concert and opening screens, etc.

Madonna's tours redefined the concert into a spectacule of music, dance, theatre and fashion. Every other pop star is just trying to catch up. All of her shows are extravagant. This is maybe the most. The same show at every location. It's always the same show for everyone. @lamusiclover22643 жыл бұрын
@@TheoriginalMach2000 how old are you? She didn't change dance music forever, she borrowed from music of the '70s and '80s. She sang the original EDM song by Donna Summer I Feel Love. She is credited and her producer Georgia Maroder is credited as the father of EDM music, for this song and many others produced in the 70s. You must not have been alive then. I think Confessions on a Dance fFoor is a great album. I love it but it is by no means the future of dance music because she used producers who have been making music like this for years for other people. The song Future Lovers, contains the song "I Feel Love" and it's entire base line is based on that song by Donna Summer which was released in 1977 as a tribute to her and her contribution to dance music and electronic dance music. Donna Summer had been doing EDM with music since around1975.

LOVE THE VIDS!!!! So Madonna always does her tours in acts with a theme. At the time she became an equestrian and was obsessed with horses so she made the first act of this tour about horses/equestrian, and she was actually thrown off her first horse and broke 8 bones and filmed her Hung Up video with her broken bones to stay on schedule. She never really does old songs on her tours to focus on new music but if she can find a way to incorporate old songs into the themes she will- so here on this tour she did Like a Virgin and worked in the horse/equestrian theme by using her own x-rays from her accident mixed with other horse riding accidents to make fun of the “like a virgin” theme.

Her shows are divided into different acts (or segments), each act has a topic (eg: geisha, cowboy, etc), in this case it was equestrian, firstly cause she loves horses and horse riding and secondly because some months before the rehearsals for Confessions Tour started she fell off a horse and broke many bones (she recovered super fast though as the queen she is lol) and so basically (and because she loves irony) she got the inspiration for the first act of this tour the horse-themed. And yes, this was the same show in every city the tour went to.
