She's dreaming, dreams have no sense, that's why the song is called "Bedtime Story". Pd; Here, she pays homage to her favourite surrealist artists such as Remedios Varo, Frida Khalo, Leonora Carrington. The video is considered a piece of art and it's in constant exhibition in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

This is 1994. Co-written by Bjork. Need i say more. Bedtime stories was an album written for "bedtime" with mellow tracks and vocals and dream surreality. It's one of my favourites.

Very good reaction. If noticed at the beginning of the video when she is laying on the futuristic bed; the computer uses Madonna’s actual last name and refers to her as a subject and also used the word Lucid which lets us know that she is being used as an experiment in order to analyze her dream. Madonna has always being an art enthusiast so the images in the video al inspired by the paintings of some of Madonna’s favorite artists. For example, the image of the two Madonna dressed in mens suits where her heads are depicted as two mirrors was inspired by one of Frida Khalo’s paintings named “ The Two Fridas “ also the that the dream is a lucid dream it lets us know the dream is very realistic and that in some way she is aware that she is dreaming which allows her to ha some control of the direction of the dream

The video is a dream, is also based on psychoanalysis you can actually see the figure of the therapist (old man talking to a think lol) he’s like watching this dreams creation by someone else
