Yeah, Beatty owns the rights to the 1982 Jean Stein book...there was talk in 1985 of starring Molly Ringwald (UGH) in the title, but thankfully only talk. Should Beatty make the film (I think he has the talent to do the story justice) he needs to hire an unknown.

madonnas such a snobby, jealous, sad excuse for a woman. She is nothing but a copy of what was before and a slave to the industry and media. Edie was a woman of class and uniqueness that stood of her own and had intelligence. She was one of a kind.

Have any of you even watched this movie? There was no ill will towards Edie. It was a statement about Warren Beatty bedding every woman he came into contact with in the 60s and 70s. Madonna was dating Warren at the time of this documentary in 1990. And vulgarity is up for interpretation. And there are plenty who would say Edie Sedgwick and the rest of the Warhol Superstars were vulgar, so let's don't be throwin' stones.
