The interview was great thanks to Madonna. But I feel so much hyprocrisy here about the tv hosts. They act kind and gentle because Madonna in that era appeared family friendly (married, writing children's books, talking about spirituality etc...) and they were like now we can identify because you're tamed and don't push the envelop. I hate it when women expect other women to behave a certain way just to make them comfortable. The comment "like daughter like mother" was extremely direspectful.

This was one of my favorite eras. She looked great, dressed well, was just, well, classy. And one of her best last albums (COADF) was just around the corner. What she’s done to herself in the last couple years is just beyond tragic.

🥱 you mean return to who she’s always been? Lol you must be a casual fan if you think anything during this period was authentic. She’s back to herself again now. Let the pretenses fall in maturity.
@judex3226 Жыл бұрын
@@elm1230 You think the way she is now is the way she always was LOL. So you think she’s not being real in this interview and her 8 year marriage to Guy Ritchie, raising & adopting children was fake? That’s ridiculous. I’m a Madonna fan but what’s she’s done to herself now is tragic. She was beautiful and did not need any plastic surgery let alone the amount of plastic surgery she’s had. Changing her image & style is not the same as undergoing major unnecessary and potentially dangerous cosmetic surgery. I care about Madonna beyond her looks. I care about her physical & mental health. She’s been inspiring to millions but now out of desperation in an attempt to look younger and remain relevant she’s made a huge mistake. She was already and always relevant, she’s an icon and shouldn’t of had cosmetic surgery she didn’t need. People including Madonna need to wake up to the fact that cosmetic surgery never makes an older person look like their younger selves, that’s impossible. She’s doing what a lot of older men have done in the past and still do in an attempt to remain relevant and attractive and that is try to be young, except when men in the 50s or older start dressing like teenagers and dye their hair or get hair transplants or wear wigs to hide thinning hair they are seen as a bit sad and often mocked, but if a huge star like Madonna does it we are supposed to ignore and not say anything about the sad spectacle we see unfolding before our very eyes.

There's just something potent about Madonna guesting on a show that she indirectly made possible (Barbara made her decision to choose the show's original lineup when during the audition Debbie M listed Madonna along with Einstein and Bill Gates as her most influential people in history prompting her to defend her position to the other skeptical panelists with Star apparently going "you've got to be kidding" - BW rightly assessed this would make for great TV) - shame she never went on when Rosie was moderator or a panelist
@markstar60562 жыл бұрын
She was very much in love with Guy Richie at that time. 6 months later cracks started in the marriage. Apparently after her horse riding accident, he barely went to see her or take care of her. Distance between them grew. They went to counselling but the marriage couldn't be saved. 2008 divorced and he took millions from her. I'm surprised a savvy, intellectual business woman like Madonna didn't get a Prenup, i'll never understand that, costly lesson!! 😪

+Leo Light and Tye81: well what happened was that the man she thought was her soul mate, the person she was going to spend the rest of her life with took a diarrhea dump all over her heart. She got divorced. When break ups happen we all rebel and react in different ways. I think she lost herself and her sense of identity in the marriage to an extreme extent and the past couple of years since has been her trying to find herself again. Of course she's going to sex it up again, she's single…and he did not like her being provocative at all. I know it seems like she's regressed and there have been certain things she's done that I have found contrived or rolled my eyes at but she's working shit out. Who are any of us to judge? We haven't lived her life. Rebel Heart displayed the two extreme sides of her personality, that dichotomy…but it seems like she's coming into herself again. No boy toys, she's been single. She's certainly looking the best she's looked since she went bat shit crazy with the face pull and fillers. Life is a journey and that's being reflected in her art.
